Review: Sirs or Madames, A month ago my daughter called Sorrensen's Resort to inquire as re: reserving a week in September, 2015. The lady said that she needed a debit or credit card to be on file. my daughter asked me to provide my debit card, which the lady said would NOT be charged until we actually made the reservation. The arrangement was made that my daughter and I needed to talk about it first. The lady called later and said that if she did not receive a $200.00 deposit by Dec. 1st, 2014 that she would cancel the reservation. I did not have the $200.00 funds to pay Sorensen's that first week in Dec. 2014 so I did not contact her, assuming she would just cancel the reservation. instead, whomever she was, on Dec. 9th, took $1,133.00 out of my checking account from my debit card with no authorization whatsoever. This will make my mortgage ck with [redacted] be of insufficient funds, which I have never done. I am astonished that anyone could think that they could take such a large amount of money from a checking account with no notice to the customer. They had absolutely NO authorization to do so. [redacted] is going to reverse the charge to my checking account provisionally, minus a $50.00 cancellation fee, and I would hope Sorensen's will not dispute it. This was a fraudulent act. Sincerely, [redacted] or cell, [redacted]Desired Settlement: If Sorensen's disputes the reversed monies, they will need to issues a full refund to me. I am 83 years old, and I consider this elder fraud. I do not have over $1100 to put in a resort's pocket for a stay 9 month's away, which I decided not to take, anyway. I told [redacted] to allow the resort a remainder of $50.00, which was mentioned earlier as a cancellation fee. They now have the $50.00, and better not dispute the remainder of the $1133 debit to my account. [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:the contact woman @ Sorrensens called me and I told her she had no right to charge a week on my card witbout my permission. She said that "I gather you want to cancel the whole week and I replied "absolutely" and she replied "alright". [redacted]
