Review: This man is a total thief. We gave him $1000 to fix our building's roof, and he constantly said that he was going to show up, bring people, and bring materials, and he ended up taking the money and running. His name is [redacted], and he flat out stole our money. I tried calling the police to file a police report, but they said that it was a "civil" matter and that I would have to take it up with the courts. It's not worth suing a man for just $1000, but I want all of the internet to know that this man is a crook. I would like the Revdex.com to formally investigate this man's business, and he just took my $1000, never performed, and stopped answering my phone calls. I would also like to pursue him for larceny with the state's attorney.Desired Settlement: He needs to return my $1000, since he never did a thing or performed any service.

Review: 10/14/14 gave SOS Restoration a check for $1100.00 to start work. Work scheduled to start 10/22-23. SOS did not show either day.

10/22 owner [redacted] from SOS came by with a hand written contract/estimate, listing, repair/removal of all rotted wood and duration painting. We both signed it. He failed to list a completion date.

11/22 2 SOS workers worked half a day neither garage or backside of house are finished.

11/24 I called [redacted] to ask when they’re coming back out, [redacted] says it’s getting too cold and he will return at the beginning of SPRING 2015 to finish the job.

4/26/15 I called [redacted] to ask when he’s coming back out, [redacted] says May 7th. I explain I have to get the house on the market by June 1st, and that I can’t have this holding up the sale of my house. I explain he promised to have this done at the beginning of the spring, he states it will be done, no problem.

5/7 NO workers show up, no calls from [redacted]. I call [redacted]; he explains there’s a delay on another job he’ll be on the site May 14th the following week.

5/14 NO workers show up, no calls from [redacted]. I call [redacted] he explains job in [redacted] is ‘a mess’. I explain the need to honor the agreement and how bad I need him on site to finish the job. He says he’ll be on the site May 26th a full 2 weeks later but there will no more delays. I expressed my nervousness about waiting so long but he said he’d dedicate the time.

5/26 NO workers show up, I left a voice mail and email for [redacted] that this was unacceptable.

[redacted] this is not acceptable. You promised me back in October you'd have my house done at the beginning of spring. There's nobody at my house I've been there all morning waiting for you guys. I need you guys on the site now you have an obligation to me from back in October please honor that. This is the sixth time that you've not shown up when promised

5/27/15 [redacted] left me a voice mail he and his crew will be on site the end of next week ‘unless he’s dead’. He did not set a specific date of arrival. I called him back to confirm receipt of his voicemail He said he’d return on Thursday June 4th.

SOS restoration did not come on Thursday June 4th because he said he had a rain delay of two days on another job. He said that he would be here on Monday, June 8. He did not show up Monday on June 8 and he did not call me. He said he would be here before 8 o'clock AM

AT 9am I called [redacted]. He said it was raining so he would not be able to paint it was only misting at my house for one hour. He said he would come on Tuesday June 9th and that he would call me as of Monday night he has not called

Tuesday: rained all day. [redacted] called me at 8 AM to tell me he would be here Wednesday June 10th at 8:30am in morning. I asked why couldn't he come today to at least do the work work, not the painting, he said he'd rather do it all in one shot.

I called [redacted] at 7:50 AM I asked if he was on his way here he said we will be out there shortly. After placing three phone calls from 9 o'clock to 930 [redacted] called me back and said his guy should've been here by now; He will not be on site which he said he would be because he had his daughters graduation today he said he will call his guys and see where they are. [redacted] called back and said the drivers had a problem with their clutch they will be out here shortly he will be on site at 12:30 after his daughters graduation

12:41 PM I called [redacted] he had not shown and neither had the workers. He said that the workers had a clutch issue and they will not be coming today and he has an after graduation party he did not know about so he will not be coming today he said they will show up tomorrow at 8 o'clock or 830 on Thursday June11Desired Settlement: Finish the job or a full $1100 back for time i've wasting waiting. Only about 4-6 hours of paint was scared and painted fresh on the trim.
