Love Soul Fitness! I am 54 was a runner but then life got in the way and I gained 78 lbs! Now since following a nutrition plan, boot camp and personal training I have lost 20 lbs in 2 months! The trainer, Randy is highly knowledgeable, personable and keeps you accountable while cheering you on! Soul Fitness is completely nonjudgmental and everyone shows up to boot camp smiling and ready for a tough workout. Soul not only works on the physical part but works on staying strong mentally and being positive. The coaches are ALL wonderful. I highly recommend for all ages and fitness levels. You will love it!!
I agreed to services for training and nutrition with *** and his Soul Fitness Boot camp. He charged for three months in advance.
I joined Browns Boot camp and quickly discovered it did not fit my work schedule and he had various class schedules and locations but I could not make any of the designated times. The people in his group were his trainers or retired people who could leisurely be involved during workdays. the other choices were 530am or 5pm at night in locations I could not get to with work or my ranch. I asked after tow weeks for a refund of the training I did not want to pay for and he did not earn. In writing both in text and email. I left voice mail messages and did everything I could to get the balance back from the three months he charged me for in advance. I have copies of all of the correspondence. I have in writing in text that he agreed to reimburse me but he has not to date. I found his organization very un professional and there was no contract and no writing agreement or terms. No out line of what I could expect and no clauses for non reimbursement. The most expensive part of his program was to be nutrition which he broke out after would be $900 for the tree months which was a total sham. One text a day for my weight or calories and carps does not dictate this huge fee. never ever disclosed when he ran my card. He was very shifty and dishonest I found rude superior and frankly creepy. he would train at the class and discuss his felony records and who he used to be. I simply think he and his business are crooks that took a large amount of money from me and principality I want it back. He cannot earn money for services he did not earn and he never had me sign and agreement or disclaimer otherwise, I want fairly what he did into earn after the tow week was up for three months I had offered him $250 for that time which is still a ridiculous amount for his effort and service but he *** not return my funds even after I went to the bank and requested it there and formally send many forms of correspondence. I would Ideally like all of my money returned since his website advertises tow weeks free trail son I should legally get all of my $1150 back. Stay away from him and his business.
Initial Business Response /(1000, 5, 2018/04/23) */
We understand that making changes to health, fitness, and nutrition can be difficult. Our company philsophy is to provide support and encouragement during this sometimes uncomfortable transition. All of our clients pay for services up front. Those services are honored until used and we have a strict no refund policy.
In good faith, and for the first time in our company history, we offered a partial refund. Unfortunately, we could not come to an agreement with this client before she issued this complaint. This client has been offered to postpone (or pause) her services until she feels the time is right for her to continue with us.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /(3000, 7, 2018/05/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
There has been no offer made by this vendor other than a text where he asks for my address to reimburse me. I will attach the copy of the text and my email request for the balance owed back to me. We had no agreement up front I signed no paperwork for any reimbursement policy. I will not be taking any group classes with his organization ever again. I found him to be untruthful and predatory. I just want the money that he did not earn or will ever earn returned to me. I have offered fairly to receive $950 back from the 41150 for the balance of two weeks from three months of service not received.
Final Business Response /(4000, 10, 2018/05/15) */
As stated in the initial complaint, this client agreed to receive services for training and nutrition. We require 3 months advanced payment for nutrition and 1 month advanced payment for group training. The client agreed to do 3 months of both services. The original credit card authorization, signed by the client, included 3 months of nutrition and 3 months of group training. The client was present and provided her signature when her credit card was billed for this amount.
Due to the extensive amount of time introducing a new client to nutrition coaching we do not allow clients to begin with anything less than a 3 month commitment. This client also committed to 3 months of group training. However, in an effort to broker continued nutrition coaching success, we agreed to allow that commitment to drop to 1 month for group training.
We have also issued this client a partial refund.
