Atlantic City Lobster & Shrimp Festival getaway Sep 30- Oct 2
This was my first time going to a Soul Nation event and I was very disappointed. The coordinator was very unprofessional from the time I got on the bus all the way to the hotel. The entire event was unorganized and not thought out effectively.

For example, since everyone got off the bus at the same time, he only wanted the organizers to follow him to check-in and receive their keys and waistband. He told everyone else they had to wait an hour before they received their wrist band.

The original flyer mentioned comedy show and I was so excited and was looking forward to attending it. To my surprise, there was no comedy show. I understand that the event was subject to change, but some other event should have taken its place. That's not the way to run a business. You should never tell customers that they will be attending a comedy show, cancel the comedy show and not replace it with something else or offer some sort of financial credit. I mentioned my disappointment to the Coordinator, but he was snippy and didn't seem interested in my concerns.

There was too much down time and not enough activities for both days. The hotel was mediocre, old and smell like mold & water.

The only activity for Saturday up until the "Lobster All You Can Eat" event was shopping. The lobster wasn't cooked all the way appropriately. I swapped my Lobster out 3 times and then I completely gave up. As a result of frustration, I gave my ticket away. I think the Lobsters were terrible because they were trying to cook so many at one time. A lot of people were complaining about their lobster and had to keep returning them for another one.

The buffet was just ok. The lobster/shrimp buffet could have been better or they should have used someone else to cater.

The bus I came on had technical difficulties which consisted of having a slow leak in the tire and awful smell coming from the bathroom. The smell lingered throughout the bus and was making me sick. The flyer is very misleading because it had me as well as other customers thinking we would be traveling on a nicer coach bus.

I rate this overall trip a 5 out of 10. I have been on better organized trips with plenty of activities through out the day and better hotel accommodations. The best part of the trip was the DJ and live band. This was my first and last trip with this company.

Dear [redacted], Please be advised that my business partner Pat P[redacted] has responded to this entire group regarding all their concerns.  There was a major heating issue as a result of the extremely colder temperatures over the Feb 12-14 weekend.  The resort had a boiler go down and...

were working on the entire time.   There was no report of electrical or sewage problems. Also, resort is a conference center type property and prepares food for large groups all the time.  It is not shut down.  Regarding the stated issues, we are very sorry for any inconveniences that the group may have endured.  Pat had offered a $35 per person credit for a future overnight getaway.  After further consideration, we are willing to ** & [redacted] (group leaders), and their entire group totaling 18 people, a $100 per person credit that can be used on any overnight getaway tour with [redacted].  I am hopeful they find this offer acceptable.Sincerely, Tom L[redacted]

To Whom It May Concern:  [redacted] was part of a group of eight from Harrisburg, Pa scheduled for a crab feast bus trip package in Baltimore , Md on Aug 13th.  Her and the group were provided a special pickup concession at their desired pickup location even though the smaller group size didn't dictate that decision. Pickups at a published location require 20 or more guests.  Everything was scheduled and confirmed, and then the week before the trip she decides that she doesn't want to go anymore.  As a result, anyone canceling in that time frame loses their entire payment per the stated cancellation policy.  Additionally, our company offered a full refund option to anyone in this group who wished to cancel and provide a full paying replacement in their place.    We feel that we went above and beyond in accommodating [redacted].  I am attaching the Terms and Conditions which everyone is made aware of for your review as well.  Sincerely, Tom L[redacted]
