Review: I purchased a Waterproof Mp3 player for my brother for Christmas. When he got it, we tried to charge it and it would not charge. I called a Tech at Pyle and he said he didn't know what was wrong and he would have someone email me. The e,mail I received said I had to return the unit, paying for the shipping myself, and also to include my credit card number so that when they returned it they could charge the return shipping to it. I emailed them back and said that this was not acceptable. This player does not work. I wanted them to send me a new unit and a prepaid shipping label so I could return the old one to them. I got no response from the first email so I sent another one. Still no response.Desired Settlement: I would like a new unit that works and I would like them to pay all shipping costs. Otherwise, I would like to be reimbursed for the $39.99 that I spent for the unit.

Review: Manufacturer supplies numerous items with Pirated/cracked GPS Software. I have contacted Pyle Audio numerous times with no favorable result. Confirmation with the software supplier on illicit pirated software will render the GPS unit unusable in the future. Manufacturer has offered no avenue of fixing this problem. Without properly licensed software the GPS Unit will eventually fail and need replacement. Two units were purchased and installed, both had pirated software from Pyle Audio installed on them. Talking on the phone with [redacted] from Pyle, he repeatedly responded that their company pays for the license and this shouldn't be happening. Software was investigated by [redacted] from Naviextras Support. I have all correspondences regarding this matter. Also, customer support is nonexistent, I sent numerous emails and made numerous phone call with no response for days on end.Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated for my time and effort for the following: install two units, removal/in-install of two units, the time and inconvenience for being without a radio in my vehicle due to the product being illegal and needing to be returned again (second time), time spent researching and following up with software company and vendor, time spent packaging and shipping both illegal units.

We contacted the customer on September [redacted] regarding this matter. We have requested he send us the software that came with original units. From there we should be able to pull up the individual

License key #'s to determine their validity. The customer has sent this information into Navi-extra's and they replied stating they were pirated or invalid software. We have a in-house department, that works with the factories and Navigation software companies. We will have them work together to determine why the software came up as invalid.

As for the customer being that he stated the units have been sent back into [redacted], and labels for shipping had been taken care of by [redacted] already. The only fee's that the customer absorbed was the installation and un-installatlon of each unit. We are prepared to relieve some of that cost, & compensate to relieve time and aggravation for the delayed replies he had from dealing with Pyle Audio directly. We will remit payment to the customer in the amount of $100.00. Payment will be sent to the customer by mail at [redacted].

We feel this is a suitable remedy and we hope to build a better relationship and avoid any negativity on the Pyle Audio Brand.

We have received the questionable software by email from the customer. our licensing team has corresponded with Navi extra's regarding this matter. They have worked together to resolve these licensing concerns. We have communicated with the customer on several occasions regarding this matter. At which point the customer and our representatives had discussed the installation and removal from his/her vehicle. At no point were these installation figures presented to us for consideration. It was our understanding that the customer Installed & removed the item themselves. It's also our understanding that the customer has been completed compensated for the unit from [redacted], this would include all shipping fee's, etc. We have already agreed on a settlement and paid the customer the agreed amount. At no point did we discuss additional compensation, as far as we are concerned this matter has already been closed.

If Pyle Audio a devision of Sound Around would like receipts please let me know where to send the receipts. In addition their failure to address the previous statement reflects why I have started this complaint. Nothing was offered at the time of my product failure requiring me to have the unit installed and removed several times, no refund was offered for these additional charged incurred due to their faulty product. ]

Review: The two Pyle PCMM05 Carbon Monoxide Meters that I purchased for my home inspection business do not work properly and are a health and safety issue. I can hold both of them over a gas appliance leaking gas and they do not detect the gas at all. One meter worked for a few months and the other did not work properly as soon as I used it. I tried to contact the business and after ten days they have not returned my message to my email address of phone.Desired Settlement: I want to return both Pyle PCMM05 Carbon Monoxide Meters for a full refund. They were purchased for $90.83 each for a total of 181.66. I need a mailing address to send these back and I expect a full refund. I am past the return date for [redacted] but there is a one year warrantee on this product that is obviously not functioning correctly. I had to return to a customers home and repair a leak on a gas pipe that I tested with this equipment that this detector did not detect. The home occupants could have died from this error. This is a serious issue and if these products do not work correctly they should not be used by anyone. I don't want a new product from this company I don't trust the product at all.

Review: Ok Purchased these this set of Mic's for Our DJ & Karaoke business.. We thought it would be great for wedding and things Boy were we wrong. they worked ok at first has great sound in small places. The first time we did something outside where people thought they would have free roam Ha Ha the joke was on them. Once anyone would go more than 10 - 20 feet away the mic's would die out and quit working. they are advertised to go 50-180 Meters 160 feet to 590 feet We did contact [redacted] about the problem and they took them in for repair and that was a cost of $45.00 for Shipping.. We have them back now and tried them out again at a Large outdoor venue guess what we are still Having the same problem... They are now refusing to even look at them.Desired Settlement: I would like to see them work as advertised, get them exchanged or replaced with something that will work as these were advertised

Review: I got a car radio from this company thru Amazon in Aug 2014 and I have had problem with this radio in Dec2014 so I then sent it back and it was replaced Jan 2015 now the radio is messing up again its like evey 3-6 month after it already in my car the radio trips the problem I am having is that I having to pay 75 everytime its being taken off and put back in so I have now paid 225.00 dollars to take the radio in and out my car for ship backs I feel like the company should have to pay for the radio being replaced this go aroundDesired Settlement: my cash 225 or them to pay the fee to replace the radio

Review: The first time I call pyle audio was in October 2014, about the charging of the battery to my PA system. It came without instructions on how long to charge the battery. Well in December and up until this current time this is a Lemon PA system that do not hold a charge. [redacted] the [redacted] has not help me I ask him to replace it last year. I told him this was for my Street Ministry. I still want another system he can explain to Revdex.com, how many times I called, how many tricks he had me play, and HE does not answer his phone. He has a Poor business practice period. I have my receipt for the product. Someone other than [redacted] knows I have a bad PA - System and he first called it a LEMON. Review: I purchased PipCan5 from woot.com on July **. When I contacted SoundAround technical support within the warranty period, the technician diagnosed my problem as a defective unit and promised a replacement. In order to receive that replacement, I was to use a shipping label that was never sent.

I've emailed the technician regarding the shipping label but received no reply.

My several calls to SoundAround (###-###-####) went unanswered.Desired Settlement: I wish a fully operational replacement for my defective Pipcam5.

Review: I purchase a Lanzar DCT 425 4000 watt 4 channel amplifier from [redacted]. Purchased on Dec, 2012 on July 2013 it failed quit functioning. I called the customer service dept at Lanzar Service Center to report the claim. The customer service clerk told me to mail the unit to Lanzar Service Center [redacted]. I mailed it out on Aug **,2013. On September *, 2013 it was return to my home as refused by consignee. Lanzar Service Center. Looks like they don,t want to honor the warranty which expires in Dec 2013.Desired Settlement: Refund me the 21.00 dollars that I pay to send the unit to Lanzar Service Center. And send me a new unit.

Review: Last Dec. I purchases a pair of Pyle outdoor speakers as a Christmas present for my son. This spring we opened the box in preparation to install the speakers. We found that one of the speakers had something quite large rattling inside. I contacted Sound Around and explained the situation. The speaker are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. I was told that I would have to return the broken speaker at my expense. I felt this was wrong as they sent a damaged speaker. I finally gave in and returned the speaker the total cost to me for shipping both ways was $$22.65. When I received the speaker back from them the invoice stated replaced speaker. When I checked the speaker it had the same exact rattle so it either the same speaker or another with the same issue. My son and I were able to disassemble the speaker and we found that the small tweeter speaker was not fixed in place and that was what was rattling and damaged from being loose in the housing. I contacted Sound Around and expressed how unhappy I was and I had again received a damage speaker which I had paid $22.65 to have repaired. I had taken pictures of the loose and damaged tweeter which I sent to them along with my request that they make this right. I did not hear from them in a reasonable time so I called (last Thur.) and was told they would contact me today and appraise me as to how this would be handled. They have not contacted me. My son and myself have made numerous calls to Sound Around for the past 3-4 weeks with no reasonable action on their part. Very poor customer service!!!Desired Settlement: I feel I should receive working speaker at no additional cost to me or ever perhaps anew pair of speakers. If this service can not be honored then a full refund of the cost of the speakers should be provided. Thank you for any assistance you can provide in bringing this issue to a conclusion. [redacted]
