To Whom It May Concern,
In the above complaint filed 1/11/16, Ms [redacted] indicated that she believes she is a victim of identity theft. Ms. [redacted] believes an apartment was rented under her name but with a different Social Security Number.
After filing this complaint on 1/11/16, Ms. [redacted] called...

Sound on 1/12/16 before noon and spoke to Ms. [redacted].
Ms. [redacted] explained that in order to help Ms. [redacted], Sound would need:
1: copies of the police report Ms. [redacted] said she filed substantiating her belief that her identity was stolen.
2: copies of  two pieces of identification.  One with Ms. [redacted]'s photograph and ideally both pieces of identification including Ms. [redacted]'s signature.
In the meantime, a Sound file clerk will compile any tenant screening applications, rental contract s or documentation available or via Kensington Gate in order to compare the signatures  on the documents.
Ms. [redacted] provided her contact information so Ms. [redacted] can provide the requested documentation.
For the record, Ms. [redacted] verbally thanked Ms. [redacted] and said Ms. [redacted] is the first person that actually wanted to help her and that she would send all of the documents within a few minutes.
As of today, Sound has not received any documentation from Ms. [redacted]. Please encourage her to mail in all applicable documentation including copies of valid identification to Sound Compliance Department P.O. Box 111088, Tacoma, WA 98411-1088.
Thank You.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I have only dealt with Barb at sound collections. Each time I call I'am told she is the only person I can speak with or talk to about my accounts. Each time I call I am told she is on a call and will call back ,I still have never been contacted by her in response to any of my concerns or needs. Barb has asked me to come in to pick up info from her in person when I arrive she gives me much attitude and disrespect. Barb never got back with me on information about [redacted]. When I asked her to research to make sure debt is still valid she told me that in all her 20 years of working with [redacted] she knows they would never waste money to hire a attorney and not show up in court or win case. To my understanding she never knew the unlawful detainment was dismissed from court. Seems like she was giving her opinion and not factual information about my account. Sound screening has debt recovery programs I was never informed about or offered. Barb shared information about my accounts and debt with other business without a disclosure agreement signed by me. I feel barb has her own person issues with me that she reflects by being very unprofessional with me. Her company has falsified information on my credit. When I called and asked for something in writing from her company that stated and showed proof that the debt that was falsified was not mine she refused and told me it was not her problem. When I came in person to speak with her she tells me about her mother being sick in the hospital there's no reason in my opinion I should have been informed of that. That is her personal problems and issues that were not related to the business we had. Barb has been very rude and had I been able to deal with or speak with any one else about my accounts or debt I would have.

Sincerely,
[redacted]

April 18, 2017To Whom It May Concern,In the interest of productive and
respectful of everyone’s time, I will be factual in my response. Ms. [redacted] is homeless because she owes at
least two local housing providers a considerable amount of money in the form of
rent, late fees, legal fees and...

damages.
It is my understanding that in the rental housing industry, housing
providers are hesitant to rent to prospective tenants who move out and leave
balances due to prior landlords for rent, damages etc. With regard to Ms. [redacted]’s actual requests for re-verification
of debts owed and public records being reported by various entities, the credit
bureaus etc:Collection Account Dispute: [redacted]03/03/17 I personally emailed
Ms. [redacted] IN WRITING that account [redacted] was re-verified and due. Ms [redacted]
made her first payment of $25 toward the debt. 03/02/17 Per Ms [redacted]’s
request, I personally re-verified AGAIN with [redacted] that account
[redacted] is indeed due. 03/02/17 Per Ms. [redacted]’s
request, I personally emailed [redacted] the notice of unlawful
detainer dismissal dated 05/03/2013 debtor provided witnessed 2/17/17. I
personally explained to debtor that debt was still owing despite dismissal of
unlawful detainer i.e. debt still valid. 01/31/17 Ms. [redacted] called in
asking to set up payment plan for account. 01/25/17 Per Ms [redacted]’s
request, re-verified with [redacted]/[redacted] that account [redacted] is
owed. Verified that account is being reported as disputed. I personally re-verified
with [redacted] that account [redacted] is indeed owing.3/27/13 Assigned by
[redacted]/[redacted] 3/27/13 Credit Bureau Report Public Records Dispute:4/7/2017 Debtor claims that only one of the
two civil judgments reporting on debtor’s credit report referenced below
belongs on debtor’s credit report. Sound has AGAIN requested that the credit
bureaus research and correct the public records being reported to reflect only
one judgment i.e. correctly referenced below as [redacted], Docket # [redacted]. [redacted] does indeed have a judgment for
$1947.00 against debtor which is included in collection account
#[redacted]  $2357.75 listed 10/30/13.03/03/17 Debtor made first payment of $25 toward debt. Ms. [redacted]
has repeatedly communicated with no fewer than 4 people at my company and each
time she claims they are not helpful or ignore her requests. Ms. [redacted] has been
to my office no fewer than five times since January, unannounced and demanding
immediate assistance or resolution to one of her many credit or public records
issues she has associated with her Social Security Number, name and date of
birth etc. The credit bureaus have been repeated notified of her disputes. Ms.
[redacted] created these problems for herself beginning in 2013. Four years later she
expects them to be immediately investigated and fixed.   Sound is taking the steps we can to assist
in notifying the credit bureaus of her numerous concerns, however, we cannot
control the speed with which public records providers and the credit bureaus
correct their records. We are reporting all applicable disputed information or
records as disputed. Please let me know if you have further questions. Barbara T[redacted] 253-472-7336 ext [redacted]
