The issue began December 12, when I went into Sound Decisions to purchase a Viper Two-way Remote Start SystemThe next morning I attempted to use the Remote StartAfter initiating the starter the remote indicated that the car had startedWhen I went outside a few minutes later I realized the car did not start, and was even more surprised to find out that my battery was in fact completely dead - not even enough power to unlock the door via the Power-lock System The same morning, I called Sound Decisions, the staff informed me that if they received a key to the car they would go to my home to jump the vehicle and get it to their shop for further evaluationAfter evaluating the vehicle they informed me the vehicle was pulling 98mA at rest and told me that I needed to take the car to Lithia Ford or Gateway AutoI said I did not understand why I needed to do this, as my car was working fine before the installation of the Remote Car StartI then asked them to remove the Remote

The issue began December 12, when I went into Sound Decisions to purchase a Viper Two-way Remote Start SystemThe next morning I attempted to use the Remote StartAfter initiating the starter the remote indicated that the car had startedWhen I went outside a few minutes later I realized the car did not start, and was even more surprised to find out that my battery was in fact completely dead - not even enough power to unlock the door via the Power-lock System
The same morning, I called Sound Decisions, the staff informed me that if they received a key to the car they would go to my home to jump the vehicle and get it to their shop for further evaluationAfter evaluating the vehicle they informed me the vehicle was pulling 98mA at rest and told me that I needed to take the car to Lithia Ford or Gateway AutoI said I did not understand why I needed to do this, as my car was working fine before the installation of the Remote Car StartI then asked them to remove the Remote

I am rejecting this
response
because: Reading their response was like reading a historical fiction novel
there were some minor items that were true, most of it however, was pure
fabricationI did take my ca r to Sound Decisions to have a Remote Start
put inThe next day my car did not startThe battery was completely deadI
had to use the key to open the door; the remote door opener on the key would
not open itWhen I got in the car I heard a clicking sound coming from the box
on the window and the car kept trying to startI did call them when the store
opened at approximately 8:A.M
They did come and jump my car and take it to their shopThey called me and
told me that they had the car startedI went to their place of business after
work and they explained that my car was pulling mAs, at rest and that my car
needed a diagnostic testI told them that my car started fine before the
Remote Start was put in and that I wanted it removedThey refused saying it
was my car and that I needed to get it looked atIf it was found to be my car
I would have to fix itThey did check with Lithia Ford to see if it would be
covered under warranty, Lithia Ford said it would not be coveredI asked if
they, Sound Decisions, would cover the diagnostic test if it turned out it was
not a problem with my carI did not believe anything was wrong with my car
The female owner said they would cover it, if it turned out to be their fault
While I was there the Remote Start was disconnectedI wanted the Remote Start
removed but felt forced to have the diagnostic test done because they would not
remove the product and refund my money unless I didI then told them that I
was not sure when I would be able to have the test done as the car was my only
form of transportation; I work three jobs and a close relative was on Hospice
and was not doing wellI wanted to spend as much time with her as I couldShe
passed away Christmas DayWhen I was able, I called Lithia Ford and discussed
the issue with them and set up an appointment to have the testI told the
technician that I had no problem with my car before the Remote Start was put in
and had no problem after they disconnected the unitMy car is parked outside
and has no block heater and started just fine even when the temperature was
belowHe told me that in his opinion it was the Remote Start and that I would
be wasting my moneyI told him that I agreed but that Sound Decisions would
not remove the product unless I had it doneWe scheduled an appointmentI
took it in on the date scheduled and low and behold, it was not my carThe car
was working at specifications for my vehicleI took the results the next day
to Sound Decisions, the female owner said she couldn't understand why they did
not get the same readings and wanted me to bring my car back in so they could
run their test againI asked her again if they would cover the diagnostic test
and she stated again, that if it was their fault they would cover itThis time
I was smart and recorded the conversation on my phoneI brought the car in and
asked to speak with the owner, I asked him why they would not believe Lithia
Ford's test, and he stated "That Ford would skew the numbers to show what
they wanted." Lithia Ford said my car was fine and did not suggest work of any
kind on my vehicleThey did charge me $for the diagnostic testThe
fact that Ford would skew the numbers does not make sense to meJay, one of
the owners, did have his dad give me a ride to my apartment while he was
testing my vehicleAccording to Goggle maps, Sound Decisions is minutes from
my apartmentHe tested my car and called me to tell me what he found outHe
told me that spoke with a technician at Lithia Ford and three other technicians
at other establishments and found out he had been running the test wrongHe
was supposed to wait one hour before testing the car again and he was only
waiting a half hourThis statement is also on his response letterHis dad did
give me a ride back to the place of businessJay did take the Remote Start out
and refunded me the money for the Remote Start, but refused to reimburse me for
the diagnostic testWhen I pointed out that it was not my car and the fact
that he ran the test wrong, he got angryHe was the confrontational one, not
meI just wanted him to explain why he didn't think he should pay for the
testHe started yelling at me, "GET OUT OF MY STORE NOW!" He came around
the counter and started towards me due to his threatening demeanor I felt
unsafe, and leftI do not feel customers should be treated this wayIf you
check the online reviews, you will see this is a pattern with this company
