lengthy reply to the above listed complaintl do so in order to provide a complete explanation for you to understand what took place with MsJ***MsJ*** brought her television to my store because the RF fitting (this is a cable fitting that stands for radio frequency) in the rear of the TV set was broken offI obtained the standard $estimation/bench feeThis fee is non-refundable to cover the labor to diagnose the problemDue to my thirty-years of experience in electronic repair, I explained that if only the RF fitting was damaged, the repair cost would be $(less the $estimation fee plus tax), At that time, further explained the cost could potentially be higher if the main board (please note that MsJ*** refers to the main board as the m***er board in her documentation) the RF fitting is connected to was also damagedI showed MsJ*** a sample of a board that I had from an***er set so she could see what I was referring to
I replaced the RF fitting, turned the television on to begin auto-programming the television set to confirm it would find the channelsWhen the auto-programming takes place, the television set will display the channel numbers that are stored into memory; scanning from the lowest number to the highest until completedThe auto-programming did not occur and only displayed "(zero) channels found"This indicates two things: The television set was operational; it had power and display and When the RF fitting was broken off, it also damaged the main board, which the fitting is connected toI contacted MsJ*** to inform her of this and the new repair estimate of $275.00, minus the $estimation fee, for a total of $plus sales taxMsJ*** declined the repair stating the cost was too high, she could not afford it and would return to my store to pick up the television because she could still use the ***er inputs such as, HDMI, composite and component videoThese are used to connect a DVD player, cable box, satellite tuner, etc
On April 9, MsJ*** picked up the televisionMy employee helped her carry it to her vehicleHe sat it on the edge of the back seat, while MsJ*** went around to the ***er sideMy employee noticed she forcefully pulled it into the car because it was a tight fit
Upon opening for business on Monday morning, April 11, 2016, MsJ*** had sent four emails beginning Saturday, April 9, at 6:pm and left voice mail messagesMy business closes at 3:pm on Saturdays and is closed on Sundays, so we did not receive her emails and messages until Monday morningShe called first thing Monday morning and yelled at my employee who explained she would have to speak with meI called her the moment I arrived at my office
MsJ*** started out with saying, "I am p***My TV worked when I brought it in there and now it doesn't turn on at all." I inquired if she was certain she did not cause more damage while putting it in her car and removing it once she was homeShe said, Are you accusing me of damaging my set?" I told her it turned on while it was in my possessionMsJ*** said she expected me to repair the set at a very low cost to get the set back to where it was, She also claimed I ruined her $televisionI told her that I provided an estimate and she declined itI reminded her that the main board needs replacedI explained that my profit margin on the board is $She then said, "If you don't take care of this, I will blog the f*ing s*" out of you." At that moment I hung up the phone due to her abusive language, She immediately called back saying, "You hung up on me." I said, "Yes I didI did not appreciate the language you used towards me." She again said, "I'm p***." I reminded her that the main board needs replacedI explained that my profit margin on the board is $and that I have no wiggle roomI told her because of her accusations, threats and language, I prefer she take her television elsewhereThat was the end of our conversation and communication
In reviewing my surveillance recording while working on her television, you can see that I could turn the television on via the power button on the side of the setI did this because MsJ*** did not supply me with her TV remote controllerI was able to use the buttons on the television to navigate through the menu while attempting to auto program the setThis clearly indicates the television would indeed turn on while in my possessionFurther review of the surveillance recordings show us placing the television in the front of my store knowing she was coming to retrieve it
I did not mislead MsJ*** in any way, nor did I cause any damage to her set that had not occurred prior to her bringing it to my storeShe was not happy with the repair cost and chose to misdirect her anger towards me and my company
I feel the Revdex.com should form a second company called "The Better Customer Bureau" for business owners like myself to be warned about customers that clearly set out to ruin your business because they don't like what it costs them for the work they need doneMsJ*** made it perfectly clear she wanted to repair made at a deep discount or she would take the quoted action which I have indicated above and do not want to repeat due to the language it containsShe has already begun trying to harm my business by submitting negative reviews of my firm online and contacting you and the Ohio Attorney General, to whom she submitted a different story of events in her complaint, At this point, I am prepared to countersue her for slander

Good Morning MrD***- Monday I finally had some time to look at my TV..I looked on UTUBE how to take the back offTo my astonishment I saw about connects unpluggedWhen I plugged these back in to where they belong...wouldn't you know my TV turned on(WOW -just like that) These connections did not pull loose that is impossibleThey were deliberately unpluggedI feel this establishment purposely quoted me a repair price and when I refused to pay the amount and just pick up the TV they deliberately scammed meThis should be known to ***er people who THINK they are getting their monies worth...He said I needed a new MOTHER BOARD...that was downright LIE

I am dumbfounded by the second response request I receivedAs I have stated, the television turned on by the power button on the side of the television when it left my shopI could not test the power via the remote control because MsJ*** did not bring that with the television when she dropped it off at my storeWhat took place once the television left my possession is out of my control
MsJ***'s initial report varies from the report sent to the Attorney General(That copy was sent with my initial reponse.) and now she continues to embellish her storyAs MsJ*** said, it is "a matter of he said, she said"Unfortunately, whatever she says is severely damaging to my business, whether she speaks the truth or notYour firm does not want her name on any documentationHow is it fair then to list my name and the name of my business? No matter what the Revdex.com choses to believe, there will be a permanent mark on my file with your firm that you will post for all to seeHow is that fair to my company?
MsJ*** made it abundantly clear with your firm and Attorney General's office that she "is moving on"She continues to slander me evidenced by making comments such as "It is buisinesses like his that corrupt the USA." It is because of slanderous actions like hers that all will remain in the USA are the big box stores and the internet
The Attorney General of Ohio closed this matter stating they "regret we can be of no further assistance with you in this matter." (Copy of the email is elitiosed.) I do not know what you feel I should do at this pointI own a business in the town in which l live and have done so for two decadesWould I seriously jeopardize my long-standing reputation for a $as quoted to her for the repair?
