Sound Gravy Reviews (2)
Review: On December 5, 2013 I purchased a pair of [redacted] Wireless Beats from Sound Gravy as a gift for my husband. He opened them on Christmas Day and within a day, they broke. We spoke with [redacted], the owner, and he said he would replace the Beats. We had to send the broken ones to him first, and then after a month, we received our second pair. Within two weeks, this pair of Beats broke. On both pair, the battery compartment would not come open and the headset and speakers both fell off. After the second time, we contacted [redacted] Beats service and sent the Beats to them. It took about a week, but then we received an email from the [redacted] Beats service department that states the Beats we purchased from Sound Gravy were "fake" and sold by an unauthorized dealer. When I purchased the Beats, Sound Gravy advertised the Beats as authentic, with a 100% guarantee and customer satisfaction. Since we live close to the contact address, my husband went to the address to resolve this issue. This was the owner's parent's house. We emailed [redacted] and gave him sufficient time to contact us to resolve this issue, and told him we would gladly file with the Sheriff's Department. Two days later, we did receive an email from him and he even admitted he knew the Beats were fake. He has since stopped selling the Beats on his website, however, we want our money back. I have all email traffic and can provide documentation to prove our claim. Sound Gravy is fraudulent and needs to be held accountable for false advertisement and fraud.Desired Settlement: We would like our refund, in addition to, the shipping cost we had to pay to send the "fake" Beats to the [redacted] Beats service center to be serviced, only to be told they were not authentic.
