This massage is in regards to compliant submitted by [redacted] *** As Mr [redacted] stated he purchased a remote car starter from Sound Investment 8/13/Invoice # [redacted] for 159.95+ taxThe manufacture of that unit has gone out of business all contact with that company has been broken including there lifetime warrantySound Investment states on the bottom of the Invoice which I have included that all warranty's are that of the manufactureThere are no parts left to support that unit which makes it very hard to fixThis is why sound investment is willing to offer a new unit installed at a discounted priceThe new unit has a price of witch will be discounted to + tax for all returning Crimestopper customersThis has been a very costly situation to Sound InvestmentWe have done many of these swap outs as a service to our customersThank You JMichael L [redacted] Sound Investment

Remote starter has been giving me problems since purchase of the itemI attempted to speak with the owner of the companyNo resolution to this issue at allHe continued to show complete disrespect involving the issueI asked if anything could be done in order for the device to workHe still refused

I purchased a remote starter for my Jeep Cherokee on August 13th, for a total cost of $ Recently the remote starter will start the vehicle but immediately turns off Sound Investment included a warranty with the above purchase that states: "Lifetime warranty on the main unit and the installation" The owner of the business, J Michael L***, has stated that the company that made the remote starter is no l***er in business and he will not look at the unit for repair...instead offering to install another remote starter for $ This scenario is totally not acceptable to me To resolve this dispute, I would like a full refund of the purchase price, ($277.44), so that I can take my vehicle to another vendor to replace this unit I do not want Sound Investment to work on my vehicle

Had a stereo unit installed into my car by this business, and they got everything installed and didn’t reconnect any of my electric connections behind the dashboard when doneI then took my car to another shop to find out why the heat wasnt working and was charged almost 300$ to find out that the Sound Investment workers did not properly reassemble my vehicleTerrible service

The new unit has a price of 219.95 witch will be discounted to 125.00 + tax for all returning Crimestopper customers. This has been a very costly situation to Sound Investment.
