Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9908181, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted] I have made an appointment with a qualified installer to check out the system onI will let you know what I find out at that time Because I do not trust this business, I am going to take my vehicle to an authorized dealer for the [redacted] remote start to see if it was, in fact, properly installed There had to be a reason why Wilde Honda warned me about any damage that might be done to the vehicle because of the remote start and that any damage would not be covered by HondaI will have this checked into within the next week and report back as to what I have found (depending on the availability of the inspector) If the remote start has been installed wrong, I will expect the unit and bypass taken out of my vehicle and a full refund made at that time and payment of any damage repairs Why did it take a complaint to the Revdex.com and threat of a law suit in order to get Sounds to do anything?? This is unacceptable and a sign of what kind of customer service they have

Why did it take a complaint to the Revdex.com and threat of a law suit in order to get Sounds to do anything??  This is unacceptable and a sign of what kind of customer service they have.

Review: I had an [redacted] remote start system put in my vehicle back in Nov or Dec. In the extreme cold we've been having lately, it won't start the vehicle. We went back to Sounds and the guy gave my husband an attitude of no help at all. My husband even asked him to call Avital to see if they had a resolution to the problem but he said he wouldn't call because they couldn't help him over the phone. I have since come to find out that he's not an authorized dealer (which I didn't know at the time of sale) for [redacted] so they won't cover anything that he did. I contacted [redacted] myself and they said that the tach output needed to be adjusted to correct the problem.Desired Settlement: I want the remote to be usable in cold weather. If he doesn't know how to do it, then he needs to pay to have someone else to fix it.
