Thank you for allowing us to respond to the aforementioned complaint by customer *** ***.Our company, Frozen Fun/Slush Puppie Hawaii, rents frozen beverage and ice cream equipment for private parties, community events, and the likeThe most important requirement for us to service consumers is
that they (the customer) must agree to be responsible for providing sufficient electrical power at their venue to enable our equipment to operate properlyThis requirement is stated clearly on our 1-page rental agreement, on our website, and on a link provided on our rental page "RENTAL RULES".On October 8, our installers arrived at *** *** *** *** at *** *** *** in Hawaii KaiThe customer ordered a "combo" package which includes one slush machine and one ice cream machineUnfortunately upon testing the outlets at the park, our volt meters indicated out-putting sufficient power (low voltage) and other outlets were damagedThis is the reason our company, over the past years, has had to put the onus on our customers to ensure that sufficient power is availableIt can be a waste of their money, and disappointment to their guests, if we are unable to provide the service they expectedMoreover, we hate to let our customers down. After approximately hours of effort the rental had to be cancelled by our installersNotwithstanding our policy to cancel the event (without refund), the customer was given a courtesy full credit for another party.Regarding Ms***'s current situation, our rental manager sent her rental credit/new agreement to an old email "***" which is still in our email contacts list - rather than her current email "***" That is the extent of the mistake and our General Manager, *** A**, has apologized to Ms*** this afternoonMahalo again for the opportunity to respondWe hope this clears things up. Stated rules on our Rental Order/Invoice: - "RENTER IS RESPONSIBLE TO READ FULL TERMS AT: WWW.SLUSHPUPPIEHAWAII.COM" - RENTER is responsible to supply 120volts/20amps electrical power (on a separate breaker) for each machineNo other equipment (large or small) can share the same circuit/breaker: INSTALLER MAY CANCEL RENTAL upon arrival if power is insufficient at siteRENTER WILL FORFEIT PAYMENT.
