Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[We are not satisfied with this resolution due to the information that has been provided by Sounds of Water. Apparently, this business owner has no problem not telling the truth. We know for a fact there are other customers that have purchased fish the exact same weekend that we did and have has the same outcome with their Kio fish and one turtle. And as far as saying they have never experienced a $5,lost and a credit of $on a bad batch of fish is ridiculous; there is no way for someone to even come up with this quote on their own. Now, with this company claiming to be the top rating on sales in the Indiana and Kentucky area that sales happy and healthy fish is untrue. Furthermore, we followed the directions that the company provided as far as how to handle the Kio Fish and did Sounds of Water quarantine the fish or any of their fish. We never claimed to be an expert on Ponds or Kio Fish; what I said was we have had our pond with Kio Fish for years and our Kio's was Healthy and Happy. Since Sounds of Water is a "expert" on ponds and Kio Fish I find it the responsibility to educate each customer as much as possible. I find that this company is trying to put the blame on the customer and absolutely take no fault in this situation. Being dishonest as a business owner will get you no where, but eventually it will only cause a business to go out of business. We still have yet spoken to *** as of the other customer that has had the same problem. I will make it a point to call around and verify the warranty that other business in the area have on their Kio Fish. As far a the A+ rating it is only because people are to busy to bother with making a complaint with the Revdex.com, but when you experience the loss of Kio Fish that you have been taken care of for years it is absolutely heartbreaking. I want this owner to be honest and take responsibility on his part of this situation.]

Sounds of Water has been in business since 2002 and has never had a consumer file a Revdex.com complaint. It is not our intent to have a dissatisfied client regarding our quality of work performed or the pricing of the jobs. With that being said, we regret this...

unfortunate situation whereas a client of ours has felt the need to complain to the Revdex.com.
When a potential customer calls our store, pricing can be given over the phone for specific services. All pricing is prominently displayed for individuals who walk into our place of business or for the potential customer who calls into our store for pricing. The pricing is not only displayed for our walk-ins but as a reminder for the employee who quotes the prices over the phone. Sounds of Water standard pond cleaning rate is $50.00 per man, per hour.
The employee who quoted Mr. [redacted] price has quoted over 90% of the telephone calls for pond cleaning for the season. I truly believe my employee quoted him the correct rate and don't think Mr. [redacted] understood or misinterpreted the quoted price. My company has cleaned over 100 ponds for just this season and hasn't received any additional feedback; other than positive feedback from my clients.
Sounds of Water sent 2 people out to clean his pond, which hadn't been cleaned in many years, which took 11 man hours. He was appropriately charged; and respectively deny Mr. [redacted]'s reimbursement request for the job performed.
As mentioned in Mr. [redacted]'s text of complaint, he mentions he has a phone recording of the conversation that took place with my employee for the rate quote. If Mr. [redacted] has a recording from my employee of a different rate being charged, please make it available for review and I am willing to revisit this issue.
Best regards,
[redacted] Owner|Sounds of Water

Response:Sounds of Water has a 30 day written warranty on every fish purchase if the fish is 5 inches or longer. This warranty is more then likely the longest fish warranty in the industry. The average fish warranty is only 24 hours from purchase. We happily and instantly honored our fish warranty...

and a credit was given to the [redacted]'s the moment we found out they had a issue.. We generously honored our warranty even though we thought their lost of the fish they purchased was not at no fault of ours because our fish are healthy and we are not having any issues. Lets also take this in consideration the [redacted]'s claim they are experienced 12 year pond owners. The [redacted]'s used their 12 year pond knowledge inspected and picked out the fish so the fish must have looked happy and healthy at the time of purchase or they would not have wanted to purchase them. The [redacted]'s are now claiming that we should be responsible for all their pond problems, a pond that we have never even seen. Once a fish leaves our procession Sounds of Water has no control over how a client handles the fish, how they introduce the fish to their pond, did they quarantine the fish a week prior to introducing it or just dump it into the pond that day, how and what treatments they may be using, what their water quality maybe, if they may have bought fish at a competitor prior to buying our fish. So we can not do what the [redacted]' s think we should do and that is to warrant every fish in every pond in Indiana and Kentucky whether we sold it to them or not. It is ridiculous to think that we can or should be responsible for every ones personal pond. The Pond owner has to assume all responsibility for all aspects of their pond since it is under their personal care. Our fish are healthy we buy from the best breeders in the United States and inspect our fish daily to insure high quality healthy stock. The statement about a bad batch of fish and loosing 5000.00 is a flat out untrue statement. No such thing has happened and we welcome the public to come inspect our fish today or any other day and you will find healthy happy fish swimming in are tanks just like the day the [redacted]'s was their. We sell thousands of fish to thousands of satisfied customers and are considered to be the best place to buy pond fish in the area. We have been in business for over 25 years and still retain a A+ rating with the Revdex.com.
