Review: Did a new project job for Source One Network. I haven't received my payment as of today. I e-mailed Mr [redacted] Bond the following on 4/29/2014:

This is in referrance to the following jobs: Bloomin Brands 2013 Outback Water Savings Initiative Three Dipwells.

The 45 day period ended on 3/17/2014, 3/19/2014, 3/20/2014, and 3/22/2014 for each project. I emailed [email protected] to see when payments will go through. I got an estimated check date of 4/25/2014. It's now 4/29/2014, 38 days after the 45 day period. I am requesting payment and why your Accounting Department is not fulfilling their duties to us the Contractors.

Please see that this matter is taken care of ASAP.

Response:

Mr. [redacted] worked for Source One Network Solutions as a subcontractor on 6 jobs from fall 2013 through August 2014. In this complaint, he appears to be talking about three jobs that were performed at the beginning of February.

The missing payments Mr. [redacted] refers to in this case were made on May 8th, 2014 in full. Payments were made in just over 90 days. On our website, we post anticipated payment dates 45 days after the original service date. We also ask to allow 10 days for processing and delivery. When Mr. [redacted] performed a job for us on August 11th, 2014, we paid him on October 14th, 2014. The “anticipated payment date” was September 25th. We were only a couple weeks late making that payment. Mr. [redacted] the owner, brought me in to this company in July 2014 with a goal of always getting our contractors paid at 45 days. Mr. [redacted] was paid in full and accepted more work. I will strive to create processes that operate efficiently and allow me to get our subcontractors paid at 45 days. I will look for Mr. [redacted]s name on future a/p reports and make every effort to make sure he gets paid at 45 days which is our goal.

If you have any further questions, please contact me.

Thank you.

After doing subcontract work for source one network solutions for a few years now I come to the conclusion that there is no professional etiquette at all,I follow all of their rules and procedures and I still saw myself always begging for the payment of jobs that were completed. They promise to pay in 45 days but I waited 6 months to get pay on the last job I did, I finally got paid after I called continuosly for a whole month....So do yourselfs a favor fellow subcontractors, dont do any work for them unless you have no problem waiting for 6 months to get paid.....

My experience with this Company are very negative.
First of all, they call you with this great opportunity to work with them, then they proceed to explain what they want you to do for them. For my experience, the work they explained to me was nothing like they said. They said that it should be an easy job and you will make out good.
Once at the job site, I had to jump through all sorts of hoops to just be able to start the work. Then when we actually get going, it turns out to be nothing like they explained, but in fact, much more work. Luckily, I was with the Technician that I sent to do the work, so I helped him complete the task. As it turns out, it was twice the work that they explained to me. So, if it weren't for me being there to help with the work, it would have cost me big. I ended up donating my time to get this work completed, so I could pay my technician his wages. Then once finished, the hoop jumping starts again. Now, it has been almost 120 days since we completed the work and were approved for payment. Guess what......we have yet to see that payment. I have emailed several times and called, asking for my payment, and they tell me that it will be cut and sent by this date. Nope, no check yet.
They really are a very poorly run business, and as far as I am concerned, a very dishonest Company. They prey on other small businesses to make their living.
Please stay away from doing anything for this Company. And if you choose to do anything for them, request payment (or at least 50% of it) before accepting any work. And to top it all off......they keep sending me requests to do more work for them.
Hopefully I see a check real soon, or its off to my Attorney.
