Review: Offer to participate in a paid Customer Research Program with a participation pay of $300 per week. They sent a check for $1506.00 to cover 1) Participation pay of $300; 2) $1006.00 - Stipulated Amount For First Evaluation; and 3) $200.00 Required Funds for retail shopping assignment (You will keep the purchased goods)
The $1506.00 check was fraudulent according to Wells Fargo Bank. And it never cleared. I sent the company several emails and none of my emails were answered at all. I believe that the entire operation is a scam. I spoke with a gentleman by the name of [redacted]. I was not able to understand his last name; he just said that he was the only [redacted] in the company.
The initial letter had the name of [redacted], PROJECT DIRECTOR.
Please let me know what you find out!Desired Settlement: I should be paid the $300.00 participation pay for the first week.
The company also owes me $12.00 for the bank fee for a returned check.
I made several trips to the bank and one trip to Walgreens to make a purchase of a "Reload it" card with $500.00 cash. I didn't make the purchase because their check had not cleared the bank - and it NEVER did!!!!!!
