When someone rents a tent from us, it is specifically stated (item #in
"Conditions Of This Agreement" that is attached to each tent rental order): "NO TENT IS GUARANTEED ABLSOLUTELY WATERPROOFLeakage may occur at seams, around the triangle assemblies where poles are installed, and at the laces where the tents are put togetherTherefore, if any leakage occurs, the rental shall still be due and payable."
A tent is a temporary structure made from materialIn the above case, there were really heavy rains at the time of her rental and that is why the leakage occurred
We had used this tent several times during the summer, including times when it rained, and did not have any complaints from any of the rentersTherefore, it had to be because of the excessively heavy rains that caused the tent to leakThis is beyond our control
The tent was installed in a safe and secure manner and it is unfortunate that there was so much rain during her partySince she agreed to the rental and paid for it, the conditions of the agreement were in effect, and she indeed owed us for the rental of the tent
As far as being unable to talk to me...I am frequently out of the office for a variety of reasonsI have a very efficient staff to handle problems, and when people specifically want to speak with me, it may take a while to get back to themSuch was this caseIn fact, I will be leaving at the end of this week for an extended time and will not be returning to the office until around the first of AprilTherefore, if you have any further communication needed from me, it will not be possible until next year
