Customer had moved out of house, but did not alert us. When the customer called to inform us, we read the meter and calculated a bill based upon the final meter reading, and the base rate (pro-rated for the time since the last billing period). Our procedure and our bill were fair...
and correct. Since the customer has moved away, however, and in an effort to do something nice for a military family, we have waived the $16.00 final bill. The customer now has a $0.00 balance. Good luck at your next assignment!-WUM
