No one called within hoursI'm actually disappointed that a business would lie like this, but not surprised this office is doing itI have dialed calls on my phone starting from the 24th of March up until the 15th of aprilof which I was placed on hold for 10+ minutes a piece (unacceptable) and this is all after their line rings about times before they answerI did have an appointment April 18th,however I started a new job and could not make the appointment in which my wife told the woman who called to confirm the appointment to cancel it because I wouldn't be able to make itShe even asked if there was another opening to make an appointment and was told there isntAnother fact is the doctor who wrote the original prescription is now only in the office every monday so it is actually impossible to get in and the other doctor refuses to refill that prescription because they say I have to see the original doctor who prescribed itIts a game of cat and mouse with this clinicYou are lucky if you can get an appointment a month outSo because a medication is non life threatening it means you are fully willing to let patients suffer anyway? This is not professional and not how I would ever treat another human beingAn exception should be made since I have an upcoming appointment and since the doctor who prescribed the medication is only in on Mondays

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2016/04/22) */
The last time Mr. [redacted] was seen at our clinic was in November of 2015. His wife contacted our clinic office manager via voicemail and she returned the call on April 5, 2016 stating his provider wanted him to make an appointment before...

refilling his medication as he had refilled it for several months previously. The medication is a narcotic and has risks associated with it.
The office manager made him an appointment for April 18, 2016 but Mr. [redacted] did not come to his appointment. He now has an appointment scheduled on May 5, 2016. The medication is not for a life-threatening illness and does require periodic follow ups with his doctor.
We apologize if he is unhappy with our clinic. It is our understanding we responded within 24 hours to his voicemail and made an appointment for him to see his doctor. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact my office.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2016/04/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
No one called within 24 hours. I'm actually disappointed that a business would lie like this, but not surprised this office is doing it. I have dialed calls on my phone starting from the 24th of March up until the 15th of april. 3 of which I was placed on hold for 10+ minutes a piece (unacceptable) and this is all after their line rings about 30 times before they answer. I did have an appointment April 18th,however I started a new job and could not make the appointment in which my wife told the woman who called to confirm the appointment to cancel it because I wouldn't be able to make it. She even asked if there was another opening to make an appointment and was told there isnt. Another fact is the doctor who wrote the original prescription is now only in the office every monday so it is actually impossible to get in and the other doctor refuses to refill that prescription because they say I have to see the original doctor who prescribed it. Its a game of cat and mouse with this clinic. You are lucky if you can get an appointment a month out. So because a medication is non life threatening it means you are fully willing to let patients suffer anyway? This is not professional and not how I would ever treat another human being. An exception should be made since I have an upcoming appointment and since the doctor who prescribed the medication is only in on Mondays.
