I want South Bay Dental to assume responsibility for the credit that they said I owe, since I did everything I was supposed to do. Review: About two years ago, I went to South Bay Dental Clinic to get some dental work done for my family. My insurance covered some and I paid for the remainder. About a week later, I got a billing statement from them stating that I still owe them. I try explaining to the lady on the phone that I have already paid, and that I have the proof.

She argued with me back and forth and hanged up on me. I finally settled the issue with them and we moved so I went to another dental clinic. We moved back and I went back to them again. I took my three kids to them to have their teeth cleaned and this was in Nov/Dec time frame. On February 23rd, I received another mail from them stating that my insurance did not cover my daughter's cleaning and that I have to pay for it.

Meanwhile, it was the lady at the front desk, who checked with our insurance to see if we were due for cleaning (which we were), and she was the one that called me and gave me dates that were available. I always take all my kids in for their dental cleaning at the same time, so I don't understand how the other two were due for cleaning and not my daughter. Also, when the lady at the front desk supposedly checked with my insurance, shouldn't she have found out that they were not due for cleaning. If she should have told me that all three kids owe the dental clinic, I might understand her a bit, but what I don't understand is, why was my daughter the only one that the insurance did not cover.

I called the dental office on Feb 25th and I talked to the same lady, and she told me that she would get back in touch with me later that day. She did not and I called again on March 03, 04, 07, 08, and 11th with the same promise. She finally called me back on the 11th and told me that since the insurance was mine, it is my responsibility to contact them and make sure that it's paid and she hanged up on me. I've tried calling them but no one answers my call. I've left several messages. This is my last resort.Desired Settlement: I want South Bay Dental to stop taking advantage of the military spouses and stop charging us ridiculous amount of money for cleaning, even though it is covered by our insurance. I also want them to have better customer service and listen to customers complaints, instead of hanging up on customers when they have questions about their billing.
