SouthBeach Fitness charged me for 12 months of childcare services. I have no daycare-age children and did not use this service in the time specified. Although I used the service for one day in July 2018 for my grandchild, with the understanding that I would pay for a full month, I cancelled the service after that day. Indeed, the gym cancelled the service after that for five months. They randomly reinstated the charge on our automatic payment in January 2019 and continued to charge us for a year. They have refused to refund the money, instead inferring that we have used the services when we have not. Indeed, our grandchild lives in Canada and has not been back to the area since July of 2018. An easy solution would be to check the daycare logs or ask the daycare providers if they know us. Damien instead chose to ignore the issue and infer that I was lying. It is well-known that their computer system is unreliable and yet we were treated like liars and are out almost $500. We have quit the gym as we do not have a desire to continue membership in a place that treats its clients as such.

Billing Adjustment Although we originally told Souhbeach that we would accept the amount owed us being taken out of our membership fees for the upcoming year, because they treated us poorly, and because we no longer will attend this gym due to their actions, we prefer to have the $480.00 ($40.00 per month for 12 months) refunded to us directly).
