7/16" bevel. I contacted our supplier and one other supplier in MN and they told me that you can not get an exact 1/2" bevel on any type of glass. 7/16" is as close as it comes. It's unfortunate that this customer is unhappy but we did the best we could when ordering from another company. We thought reimbursing the customer $60 was fair. We still took a loss on this special order item.

First of all the request was for 3/4" glass with a 1" bevel and a face of at least 1/2" We were not told that it was a special order until the glass was returned. On top of refusing to refund the amount when returned my wife was lied to stating that the glass was not available in the USA. Not at any time were sample brought out to show and explain the various sizes available so she could determine what she had ordered. I spent 10 minutes on the internet and found Minneapolis Glass Company that gave me a quote for the glass we needed. We arrived at their showroom with our estimate to make sure what we were ordering. They showed us samples and we were very pleased with their service. The product is available in the USA, Mr. Anderson seems to have washed his hands of this order instead of searching a bit harder for the right glass. Maybe by chance South Central Glass does not do any business in tabletop glass or very little and should have explained that to us and referred us to someone. We especially are upset that we were deliberately lied to so he could forward his agenda. Liars and cheats we cannot tolerate. There are to many in our society today.
