Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[I would have accepted this reponse; however, I noticed that only one specific day was being addressed when we have had multiple incidents with the rules changing each time we go to get teh car wash as explained in the complaint, which wasn't specifically addressed in the response. After my wife spoke with the GM, her last visit was good and what we were originally promised. As long as it stay like this, we will be satisified, but have had so many negative visits over the past few months taht we cannot consider one positive visit that everything is resolved. We have no issue with waiting for service and waiting was not a basis of the complaint nor was it even mentioned. Being sent away, told that we ahve to come only at certain late night hours, then only one weekends, and being sent away all together was the basis of the complaint. It appears that the GM handled this after my wife spoke to him as the otehr two managers we had been dealing with were doing everything possible to make this so hard to use by changing all agreed terms upon when we signed the contract that we strongly believe they were just trying to get us to give up on the service that we were promsied, which was the only reason we even purchased a black color vehicle, which my wife did not want. I will happily change my status to "resolved" if the GM assures me in this forum that all issues noted in my complaint are resolved and will not occur again everything that was promsied when we signed the contract to include: one full service car wash every week for as long as we own the car, the ability to drive the vehicle there for that car wash when we are in area (not at specific days or times and yes, we are willing to wait if others are being helped, we have not complained about havi ng to wait our turn), and being able to drive the vehicle straight back to the service area as origianlly told we could (and did for the first few months before the original sales manager wwe were dealing with started going out of his way to over complicate things and changing the terms of the agreement without our approval). As long this is confirmed that the original agreement will be honored, I will not only accept the response, I will even change my viewpoint on this dealership as it was starting to get very negative after these expreriences.

Review: In November, 2014, my wife and I were viewing Buick Verano's at the south county Buick dealership. My wife knew exactly what car she wanted; however, they didn't have the "white diamond" color in stock. My wife clearly told them that she was only interested in "white diamond" color; however, the sales staff kept showing her the black Verano, which my wife made clear she had no interest in a black car. The first told us they would find us a "white diamond" at a another dealer, just to keep us in the dealership for hours trying to get us to buy a black car when we were very clear we didn't want a black car. The sales manager told us that he would give us free car washes for as long as we own the Verano, if we purchased the black one as how quickly black cars get dirty was a major reason we didn't want the black color. I asked the sales manager, how would we receive the car washes and he stated that anytime we wanted a car wash (once a week for as long as we own the car), just bring it to the dealership. He showed me where the service station was and told us to bring it there any time. He also confirmed that it would be full service car washes each time. They originally left the free car washes out of the contract, but I refused to sign the contract until the put it in. They reluctantly included the once a week free car washes in the contract, with no limitations or restrictions noted. We purchased the Verano only based on this offer and would not have purchased a black car otherwise. The first few times my wife took the car in, she received good service. Little by little, the service became worse and worse and the sales manager, the same one who originally added the car washes to the purchase package has become ruder and ruder and going out of his way to make it near impossible for us to get the free car washes. Starting about 2 months ago, the sales manager told my wife not to bring her car to the back service area and come to the front instead and wait for someone in the front, which was not what we were told previously. My wife tried several times to bring the car to the front, but each time there was no one up front, so she brought it to the back service area, and each time the sales manager got very rude. The second time this happened, he was even ruder and told me not to bring it the car to the back area and look for him up front first. My wife tried to find him up front first, but he wasn't around, we don't have all day to walk around looking for him when he has no use to use when it comes to washing the car. He doesn't wash the car, the service department does. There have been multiple times when they did a very poor wash on the vehicle recently, to include a few days ago when they didn't even vacuum, left the car wet and didn't even dry it. They are going out of their way to try and not get us to use what was promised and now it has increased even further over past several weeks. A month ago, the sales manager who made this deal to us, told my wife to start bringing the car in only at lunch time on weekdays. My wife informed him that this was NOT part of the agreement and he clearly promised us originally that we could bring the car in ANYTIME the car dealership was open. My wife has school around their lunch hours and then picks up our kid from school and this timeframe does not work at all. The next week my wife actually was able to bring it at their lunchtime so she followed the sales manager request and complied. When she arrived, the sales manager then said NOT to bring it at lunch time anymore and to bring the car before or after lunch, once again, changing the rules as he goes. A couple weeks later, the sales manager told my wife to bring the car after 7pm on weekdays when they are not busy! We have a busy schedule and this car dealership is open 18 or so hours a day, and they want us to come in after 7pm?! Next time my wife went to get the car wash, the sales manager told her to start only bringing the car on weekends! They didn't want to wash the car, but did and did a horrible job. They didn't vacuum as promised during contract agreement for full service wash, they didn't even dry the car, and it looked terrible. My wife showed them how bad the car wash looked but the sales manager kept arguing with her about how they are busy and don't have time for the car washes! Then why did he promises us free car washes for life if they don't have time to fulfill this contractual promise? This is a classic BAIT and SWITCH. They promised a service to get us to buy the vehicle and now they are doing everything they can to make it so impossible for us to use the service by adding unrealistic and unagreed to restrictions. There were clearly no restrictions when we made this purchase about when we could get the car washed, now every time we go there, there is a new restriction. I went with my wife today, Sunday, 4/13/14, as she has now been told to only bring the car on weekends, which we will not agree to, but were available today so we did. We drove up to the front as asked as part of their plan to make this so difficult to get service and we saw the sales manager who wants us to go through him just to get a car wash. He saw us and immediately turned around and left and send a different manager to deal with us (one who claimed to be the sales manager boss). He told us they can't wash our car today because the guy called off work today and no one was there to wash cars!! You are telling me only one person in that dealership knows how to use a car wash machine?! For real! Are you telling me that for the entire day anyone who buys a new car will not get it washed? I find that impossible to believe, just them once again refusing to provide the service promised under the contract when we purchased the vehicle. This manager was very rude and kept talking over us when we were trying to inform him of how horrible of an experience it is now just to get a car wash. He kept trying to say that they are willing to wash our car, but couldn't give me an answer when I asked why they keep adding unrealistic timeframes and days and requirements for us on this that were never agreed upon by us, nor will we follow these added and unauthorized changes to what was promised.Desired Settlement: There are only 3 things we will accept:

1) To get the services promised when we purchased the Verano, which is one car wash a week, to where we drive it to the service station (not look for a sales manager at front of lot wasting lots of time) at anytime and any day the dealership is open as promised when we purchased the car. Additionally, the sales manager needs to stop harassing my wife as the past several times she has spoke to him she was extremely distraught over how he is speaking to her. She bring the car in for a car wash and there is NO NEED for her to deal with a sales manager, nor was this ever noted when we purchased the car. We do not EVER want to see this sales manager again unless its an accidental run in and will NOT go through him to get the car wash.

2) Buick can get rid of us since they promised something they are not willing to complete based on previous agreement. The only reason we got the free car washes is because why wife was dead set against getting a black car. They were desperate to sell us this black so performed a BAIT and SWITCH on car wash promises. Paint or pay to have painted her Verano the color she clearly stated she wanted when she purchased it and the car wash deal will be voided.

3) The car wash value was a heavy and primary factor for purchasing the black Verano as my wife previously paid over $20 a week for full service car wash, which is why she didn't want a black car because it is too hard to keep clean. We will accept cash value pay out of the full service car washes for the life of the vehicle. An average full service car wash is $20-$30 and we have a 6-year loan on the car and although we plan on keeping the Verano for much longer than 6-years, I will use that 6-year figure for this offer. Pay us value of full service car wash at $20 a week for the remaining period of our loan, 5 1/2 year for a total price of $5,720.
