The account of my office visit to the Dr's office in their response is terribly inaccurate. I did not meet Dr*** until after his staff sent me to the xray department without even explaning to me why I needed xrays. I was surprised to later find out that my insurance was billed because I was not informed of any charges for the xray. Dr*** did not physically examine me, as noted in their response, other that asking some simple questions. He sat in his stool, flipped pages on a tablet, and then asked me "are you ready for surgery"? I replied, "no, I was hoping that would be a last resort". He then replied, "Well I am a surgeon, thats what I do"? Right then and there, I knew this was a waste of my time based on his arrogance and unwillingness to discuss alternatives. He was also unprepared and did not review the MRI results that were sent prior to my visit. I specifically asked him if he reviewd my results and he said "We dont do that until later". I was surprised by his response and upset because my wife spent some a great deal of time to retrieve those results from my previous PCP. My wife was in the room and can attest to my account of this disturbing and unproductive office visit.

Tell us why heIn response customer *** *** X-rays are a necessity for orthopedic surgeons to properly evaluate and determine the course of treatment. Prior to Mr***’s exam Dr*** was provided clinical data from his primary care physician which helped determine the need for
x-rays which is why Mr*** was referred directly to the x ray department after he was checked in for his appointment. When x-rays were completed without complication or disagreement patient was taken to exam room. Dr*** personally reviews all studies prior to going into the exam room. Dr*** physically evaluated and reviewed x-rays with Mr*** and properly documented his finding and treatment options in the clinical note. We are happy to provide the clinical notes as long as we have proper authorization from the patient.Please let me know if there are any further questions or clarification needed.
