Review: SC Pool Techs is not a reliable pool company. The owner of the company " [redacted]" is not doing his job correctly. Everytime when we asked him a question, he always answer with " I DON"T KNOW" and told us rudely that he longer wanted to service the property . He was the one , who maintained and repaired the pool, spa, and the side fountain for us. Back in December of 2013 , we had a brand new pump installed for the side fountain. He mentioned that the part has 1 year warranty. When we called he simply said " HE doesn't know". We spent $375+tax on the part. He must not installed the part properly or else it won't trip the GFI.Desired Settlement: He needs to be responsible even though he is not servicing at the property anymore. We purchased the part from him , We have right to claim for the manufacture warranty and have him to come out to fix the side fountain. Pump was installed on 12/12/2013 , it's still under the 1 year warranty

RE: Warranty Clarification

When we install fountain pumps- we never at any point –in writing or otherwise offered any ongoing warranty support for this pump. Any warranty available is through the manufacture of pump (label on pump itself).

The most common cause for fountain pumps like this to fail is water allowed to go low in fountain-very common (not warranty related per manufacture) I have included original invoice- nowhere stating any warranty commitments by us. I tried to explain to client but I think there is a language barrier here.
