to drive it around 50 yards in the snow into the driveway. Ms. [redacted], or a family member then called the insurance company and made a statement that "someone had hit the car while it was parked in the driveway". The investigating police reported that there were clear tracks indicating that someone drove it around 50 yards into the driveway, with snow tracks to prove it. It was concluded that the [redacted]s' statement was "false misrepresentation of an insurance claim". The ironic thing is that the insurance adjuster told us here at Lexington Auto Sales that "All they had to do was tell the truth and the claim would have been paid!".It was basically considered attempted insurance fraud and the insurance company denied the claim. In the meantime, in the interim time the insurance company was investigating, Ms. [redacted] told us she was going to get paid to have the car fixed, so, I, [redacted], owner of Lexington Auto Sales sent it out to the repair shop to have it repaired. I never would or could imagine that the insurance company would deny coverage. But by the time I found this out the car had been repaired and it was around $1700. 00 that was owed to the repair shop. Lexington Auto Sales HAD to pay this bill.We at Lexington Auto Sales got stuck with the bill, because Lexington Auto Sales was being trying to be helpful, courteous, and expeditious in getting the car repaired and back to it's owner.We even told Ms. [redacted] that we would give her the car back if she could bring us $1000.00 even given the fact that we paid $1700.00 to get it out. How good can we be? I find it ridiculous that she would even think of writing the Revdex.com when we were willing to vouch for the repair, then take a loss on it, even though whoever reported the claim lied to the insurance company.Cordially,[redacted]Lexington Auto Sales
