My camper has tires of which one is being replaced by LionsheadThis complaint is there failure to admit that the original recall was expanded per a representative of the DOT that I have spoken with and their failure to replace the remaining as they are the same exact type, model and DOT code as the one they are replacingSo again my complaint is about the remaining Even this Revdex.com has had other complaints about this company and these tires and their is a HUGE safety issue with the remain tiresIs Lionshead willing to risk failure of those tire as is the one at miles an hour on a 10,lb camper?

Hi ***;
What is stated is true for tire onlyPer the NHTSA the recall was expanded and the one tire you are replacing has all of the symptoms which I do appreciate you doingThe only way to resolve this is to replace the other tires and rimsI have also filed a complaint with the NHTSA You can reference the complaint at the NHTSA web site using ODI XXXXXXXX

today, we are not in a positon to be able to provide any benefit under the original tire warranty

I
want my RV repaired by them since the damage was caused by their defective tireI don't understand why I should have to file an insurance claim because lionhead tires are producing substandard tiresDo they not understand that you can buy all the advertising in the worldBut if you've got one dissatisfied customer making negative comments it spreads like wildfireEspecially if you live and work in a community of people that live in RV's

Based on the determination below, LionsHead is willing to offer compensation in the amount of $XXX.XX based off of our cost structureIf you would like to provide photos of the driver side rear tire we would be happy to review that as well
and consider compensation for one additional tireThe LionsHead warranty policy covers the tires and wheels for defects in materials and/or manufacturing, regarding any damage to your unit I would have to refer you to your insurance company
Drivers Side Front: complete failure caused by tread separation-LionsHead agrees and will offer compensation
Drivers Side Middle: tread separation, disfigured tire won't stand upright on flat concrete-LionsHead agrees and will offer compensation
Drivers Side Rear: bulge on inside sidewall, uneven wear pattern, disfigured tire won't stand upright on flat concrephotos of driver side rear tire found
Passengers Side Front: complete failure, circular pieces of outside sidewall peeling off, inside sidewall has same circular patterns-LionsHead disagrees will not be able to offer compensation this is due to damage not defect
Passengers Side Middle: complete failure, tread separation, has leaked to lbs and is 2" taller than similar tire, circular pieces of outside sidewall peeling off, inside sidewall has same circular patterns-LionsHead agrees and will offer compensation
Passengers Side Rear: circular pieces of outside sidewall peeling off, inside sidewall has same circular patterns-LionsHead disagrees and will not be able to offer compensation, this is due to damage not defect
Spare: not inspected yet

although I do feel that there was a manufacturing problem with the tires and would have liked to have all of them replaced, Lionshead did agree to reimburse me for the tires that had obvious tread separationThe price per tire of the reimbursement was what I believe to be a fair amountMy dealings with the company were all thru *** *** and she was more than helpful and very responsive to my emails
