Item 1, Billing: We read our (SNWSC) meters every month beginning on the 15th As the meter is read, the operator enters the reading on his log and that number represents the number of gallons that have gone through that meter since it was read Our office personnel enters the reading on the member's account and the bill are automatically calculated That is the extent of the billing process.Item 2, Board Meetings: Our board meets every other month on the second Monday at 6:pm in the SNWSC board meeting room Notice of such meeting is posted on the bulletin board of the Orange County Clerk, the bulletin board of the Newton County Clerk, on our drive through window and on our walk up window on the Thursday prior to the meeting.Item 3, Quality Issues: SNWSC operates under very strict guidelines that are established and enforced by The Commission on Environmental Quality We are in compliance and stay in compliance In fact a TCEQ representative visited us last week and confirmed our compliance Red water has always been an issue and will forever be We conduct a monthly flushing schedule but there are some areas that require even more flushing which we do.I hope this information will be of help to you.Sincerely, [redacted] ***, Board President and Interim Manager
