Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Let's be clear, I have paid in advance for a service the Mr [redacted] stopped without verbal or written warning(when I told the employee in my driveway that I did not want a sticker all he said was "I'll tell my supervisor") There is no contract that states any of his sticker rulesMy immediate neighbors have no stickers on their trash cans and continue to have service One neighbor sets out a trash bag each Saturday and it is picked upMr***'s company has been picking up my trash since February without incident so they do work well without stickersI have stated I am willing to put an orange sticker on my trash can; Mr [redacted] can tell me the exact dimensions he needs I have already ordered the vinyl sticker materialIf this is still not acceptable to Mr [redacted] then I would like to see his sticker rules printed on the next billing to his customers with a date that everyone needs to be compliant by or all service will be terminated Regards, [redacted] ***

Review: I move to South Orange in February of 2015 and set up service with South Orange Disposal (SOD) for weekly trash collection. There was no contract to fill out just pay the prorated amount ahead and service started. Later in the year someone from SOD placed a sticker advertising their business on my trash can without asking me and I spray painted it out. About two weeks ago a representative from the company approached me and asked to place a sticker advertising their business on my trash can and I said no. I told him if he wanted to advertise on my trash can I should be compensated. Last Saturday on my normal collection day my trash was not picked up. I emailed SOD that my trash collection was missed and I would be deducting one weeks service from my next payment. The office emailed me back that I must have a sticker on my can in order to have trash picked up, if I had any further questions call the office. I called the office and asked if I could see the contract stating a sticker was part of the service requirement. I was told there was no contract but I should speak with a supervisor. When I spoke with [redacted] he informed me all customers needed stickers for service and at my level I needed an orange sticker. I told him I would place an orange sticker on my trash can but not his. He said that was unacceptable and I would not be having trash collection service until I did. Keep in mind there is no contract, my next door neighbor who's trash cans are 3 feet from mine have no stickers but had her trash picked up Saturday. I am being singled out. Either everyone has a sticker for trash collection or no one does. Once again I offered to put an orange sticker on my trash can. This all might seem trivial but I do not feel I should be forced to advertise for a company that I feel has given me less than favorable service in the past and now.Desired Settlement: Pick up my trash with my own orange sticker on my trash can and credit my bill for services not received. (right now one week)
