Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This is not accurate at all, they specifically told my wife and I that they would ONLY diagnose it to let us know what was wrong with it but would not be replacing battery and or repairing itWe are entitled to make reviews online when we feel we aren't being taken care ofThere are tons of other reviews on their site as well with complaints just like oursWe have since replaced the battery and were told the one we had in it was not a new one at all it had only been recharged They need to reimburse us for the fees we had to pay for this new battery.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

In response to the above mentioned case, I was able to pull Mr& Mrs***' customer history with our companyTherewere three jet skis purchased by the ***' on April 3, The Yamaha Wave Runner was one of themI'vereferred to the service repair orders that show the ***' brought the Wave Runner into our service department threemonths after their purchase, on 7-15-due to a "no start issue", at that time a new battery was in fact installed, as wellas a trailer light repairThe next repair order states that the ***' came back in due to a "will not start" issue and therewas no need for repair, as I quote our technician: "retested machines and instructed customer on proper operationagain."(I've included a copy of this repair order)Both of these repairs were done at no cost to the customer.The ***' complaint states that they were recently told we would in fact diagnose it, but we would not replace the battery.They chose not to accept that offerIt would be foolish of us to replace the battery without even diagnosing the WaveRunnerFurthermore, this sale was over two years agoThis Wave Runner is now years old, I would hope the ***'understand that the purchase of a used Wave Runner might require a bit of up-keep and maintenance, up to or evenexceeding, a battery replacement.The ***' Desired Settlement asks that we: give them a brand new battery and ensure the jet ski runs again after sittingfor a 'bit'This was already done, in July of when we installed a new battery and they came back in week later andwe showed them how to start it, againAs I stated above, years have passed, we are unable to replace this customer'sbattery each time a new one is neededVehicle maintenance would be the customer's responsibility at this pointIt isunfortunate the ***' feel this way, however instead of allowing us to get the jet ski in here to diagnose it, they have sincewent on every social media outlet to post negative reviews, which doesn't leave our company feeling the desire to helpthem further at this point

am also not aware if Mr*** has paid for these repairs or not.I would remind Mr*** that all used vehicles are sold AS IS with no warrantyThis being said I would be willing to help Mr *** with finding another repair faucilty, perhaps a body shopto repair his vehilcleEven though Mr*** has owned this vehicle for nearly a year,out of good faith I would be willing to perticiate to some degree, with the costs of repair.Customer satisfaction is very important to us at South Pacific so please have Mr *** call me direct at *** Ext ***Thank You, Russ sell.

To whom it may concern,ln response to the above-mentioned complaint, we pulled the vehicle history for the referenced vehicleThe vehicle has aclear title, which I've attached copies ofIf the vehicle was a ' total loss', as stated in the complaint, it would have what iscalled a 'Reconstructed
Title' It does not have a Reconstructed TitleIt does look like this vehicle had a minor accident inFebruary ofThis is a year old vehicle, minor accidents like this are likely on a vehicle history reportWhenrequested, all vehicle history reports are available to our customers at the time of saleThis is quite common in our day today business.As far as vehicle value and the retail price that was mentioned in the complaint; all vehicles are priced based on a KellyBlue Book value, and retail is acquired from thatThis is not something we control, this is a third-party publication.Please feel free to contact me via phone or email at any time.Thank you,Stacie S*VP

As I stated above, 2.5 years have passed, we are unable to replace this customer'sbattery each time a new one is needed. Vehicle maintenance would be the customer's responsibility at this point. It isunfortunate the [redacted]' feel this way, however instead of allowing us to get the jet ski in here to diagnose it, they have sincewent on every social media outlet to post negative reviews, which doesn't leave our company feeling the desire to helpthem further at this point.

Title' . It does not have a Reconstructed Title. It does look like this vehicle had a minor accident inFebruary of2009. This is a 14 year old vehicle, minor accidents like this are likely on a vehicle history report. Whenrequested, all vehicle history reports are available to our customers at the time of sale. This is quite common in our day today business.As far as vehicle value and the retail price that was mentioned in the complaint; all vehicles are priced based on a KellyBlue Book value, and retail is acquired from that.
