Review: I placed an order for a candle back on March 21, 2013 for the amount of $33.99. On April 8th I decided to e-mail the company to inquire the status of my order, because on the website, it still said "confirmed" as the status, therefore, it had not been shipped 18 days later. They got back to me the same day apologizing for the delay and will send my order out right away. I gave them 10 days for my order to get to me, and still, the order said the same status on their website. I emailed again on April 18th to see what the problem was and it was at that time they told me the actual issue with my order. Apparently the company of [redacted] who makes the candle has closed down. They disconnected their phones and are not responding to emails. South Pacific Surf Shop were selling these candles when I purchased my order, when they actually didn't have the product to ship. Even when I first emailed about the status of my order, they did not tell me the actual dilemma. I believe that they never would have contacted me had I not followed up.After finding out that South Pacific Surf Shop didn't actually have the product they were selling and could not get it due to [redacted] being closed down, I asked them to send me my refund. They said they would get it to me in "a few minutes" which actually never came. I gave them a whole weekend before I contacted them again. On April 22nd, I asked for my refund again to be given by the end of the day, which they replied "they will send it tomorrow" due to being busy. On April 25th I emailed them one last time asking for my refund within 24 hours or I will be contacting the Revdex.com to resolve the matter, which leads to my complaint. I'm extremely disappointed with this company. I have been very patient with them through the whole process. I don't think its right they sell a product they don't actually have, then lie about sending the refund. South Pacific Surf Shop has stolen from me, and I would like my money back.Desired Settlement: This company's way of business is unacceptable and I would like the Revdex.com to help get my money back since this company is clearly not going to return my money by my requests. I will be happy to supply all the email conversations with South Pacific Surf Shop to help.

Review: After waiting two weeks to recieve my order I finally cancelled it. Now I have waited two more weeks to recieve my refund and have seen nothing yet. I am filing an action to recover my money and associated expenses. Do not do business with these guys.Desired Settlement: Refund the money to avoid further legal action.

The company has not responded to my many emails and phone messages.Desired Settlement: Either refund my money or send me the product.

Review: I ordered several t-shirts online from this company on August 6, 2013. On August 16th I received an email saying that my order was just now processed and there were 5 out of 7 items that were out of stock. The company had asked if I was interested in selecting other products but I informed them that I was not interested in any other shirts or products. On August 20th I finally got a hold of the owner on the phone and I verbally requested a full refund of my money which was $114.22. The owner informed me to expect my refund on or around Friday, August 23rd as it takes approximately 3 days to receive the refund. To this date, Sept 7th I have not received my refund and I have made daily attempts to contact this owner by phone every day for the last 2 weeks. I have also sent an email to the company on Sept. 4th requesting once again to have my money refunded. I have not heard anything by email or by phone regarding the status of my refund. Seems like the owner is avoiding contact with me and is engaging in very poor business practice.Desired Settlement: I believe that this business has a responsibility to refund my money. I have not received any products from them and they were very quick to take my money from my checking account and seems to be making no attempt to return it.
