South Riding Proprietary

My experience with SRP has been short of enjoyable. There is a blatant lack of transparency & diligence when dealing with this office and their record keeping. I have been repeatedly falsely charged on my account as well as had payments that I’ve made to the association not be credited towards my account. When communicating these issues the association has stood firm on their position of the charges, providing alternative facts, and little to no information. This office should be held to a much higher standard, and would caution anyone of their questionable business practices and omissions prior to seeking their assistance.

Review: I respectfully request your assistance to resolve an ongoing matter Ive been involved in with South Riding Proprietary and the legal office [redacted] & [redacted] which my account was referred to.Since 26 Aug 2013, Ive been conversing with [redacted] who is [redacted] & [redacted] point of contact regarding my outstanding balance with South Riding Proprietary which resulted from being laid off with [redacted] during March 2013. Once I received employment with [redacted] in July 2013, I sent a $200 payment to South Riding Proprietary to resolve this issue but by the time they had received it my account had been transferred to [redacted] & [redacted] and the money was returned back to me. On 19 Sept 2013, I sent a letter to [redacted] at [redacted] & [redacted] and informed her that I tried to send a $200 payment in Aug but it was returned. I also provided her documentation from my bank statement regarding this payment. I then requested that South Riding Proprietary settle this issue by accepting $537.25 which is the amount I owed minus the legal fees and costs incurred as a result of collection action. I never received a response from South Riding Proprietary until six months later.As of 26 March 2014 the Board of Directors of South Riding Proprietary finally made their decision that theyre not going to waive the legal fees or costs incurred as a result of collection action. Therefore, the amount I owed and offered to pay has doubled. I received this notification last week from a [redacted] & [redacted].At your earliest convenience I respectfully request your assistance to resolve this amicably. Im willing to pay the full amount of what I owe minus all legal/court fees and minus all additional cost incurred to date given the fact its taken six months to receive a response from the Board of Directors of South Riding Proprietary on this issue.If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact me at###-###-####.Sincerely,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I respectfully request your assistance to resolve this amicably.
