Mr [redacted] ;Per various discussion's over the last month we have agreed to cover the $cost for a reconditioning as you requested due to water spotsWe have also agreed to cover the cost to replace tires even though we shipped the BMW to you with new tires; as you were unhappy with the date the tires were produced.Additionally, on 11/27/our Director Pre Owned Director offered a refund the full purchase priceif you return the car and the title to usI will extend that repurchase date to 12/21/15that is days after the original purchase.The replacement of the full dash is not something we can offer given our visual and written inspection of the car prior to shipping you should you need further information or have questions please contact myselfthank you; [redacted] General South Shore BMW

The total difference off of the bill was $of which $was the diagnostic fee which he paid previously and then a 15% discount which would be the balance of the $ We also have a work authorization document which the customer signed in the amount of $ We had approval to move forward with the work at an agreed upon price

First, the dealer represented the tires would be replaced when I specifically asked when the tires were last replacedAccording to tire manufacturers, tires that are 5-years old (depending on brand's recommendations) must be replaced due to age as they are no longer up to their safety standards. The dealer did not replace the tires and in fact two of the tires needed to be replaced. The cost to replace these expensive 19" low profile run flat *** tires is more than $650. They are sending $which does not cover even one tire.Second, photographs show the dash was damaged when they had the BMW yet failed to disclose this and failed to take photos of the dash damage even when I specifically asked them to take damage expressly of the dash. The cost to repair this damage, according to another BMW dealer (I have their written estimate) is $4,753!Third, the water spot issue is different from the paint swirl issue. The water spots are everywhere! On the engine, under the front hood, there is debris in the engine compartment (I took photos) and rust in places normally high up from such water exposure. The car looks like it was in a flood.Fourth, I was told the car had no paint workThis is false, the car's rear bumper was obviously painted. There was a famous case where BMW sold a car new and did not disclose that it had been painted. THey were hit with something like a billion dollars in punitive damages because fraud and concealment are serious issues!The offer to buy the car back is hollowFirst, I have already spent a good deal of time trying to remove water spots from under the engine lid, etc. Second, I spent $2,shipping the car to Los Angeles. Third, I pay $a month to park it here in a garage in Beverly Hills and the car is not being driven now what with these issues. Fourth, and perhaps most importantly, I bypassed a deal to purchase the nearly identical car in San Diego and for just $26,and without paying $2,more. I even informed BMW of South Shore of this opportunity at the time in an email, which I still have. Well, now that car has been sold so that opportunity I had back then no longer exists.The reality here is, speaking professionally as I am an attorney, the proper remedy is to make the car right. To pay the local BMW dealer here in Los Angeles to repair these defects. South Shore even tried to claim I had caused the $4,in damage. However, I sent them photos of the dash damage first on November 4th and the car was not delivered to me until October 21st. The car has been driven only miles to and from the local BMW dealer and to and from the private garage where it is kept. The car has not sat outside at all. The wheel center caps are rusted due to apparent submersion in water, two tires need to be replaced, the paint had paint scratch damage and their remain, under the hood and around the engine and on the engine, etc., water spots indicative of flooding. The local BMW dealer says it will take more than $4,to fix the dash. I paid top dollar this car, thousands more than another local carThe very least this dealer should have done was be truthful when I asked about specific things, like the tires and the dash
