Further to our previous
discussion, below is the statement I meant to send to the company that we have
a disagreement withThe reply I sent accidentally went out before I was
finished Please substitute the following reply
We disagree with South Shore
District ApartmentsWe did clean the apartment ourselves and got a very close
look at the cooktop which is the only thing we are disputing.
The cooktop was not damaged, it
had light but every day useWhat we were looking at corresponds to the
wide picture that the manager herself took of the cooktop and the cooktop looks
fine.
The cooktop is supposed to be
designed for every day useThe manager of the apartment indicated that several
cooktops we're being replaced the day I spoke to herThis indicates to me that
the cooktops were poorly chosen by the building designer or badly manufactured.
When we left the apartment the
cooktop was in excellent shapeAnything that happened after we left in the ten
days before the apartment was inspected is not our responsibility The
renters of the apartment are not abusive people and if a number of cooktops
need to be replaced, there's another problem at work here A rental
apartment cooktop is required to be able to take every day wear and tear
We would like the money that is
being charged for the cooktop removed from our account.

lease contract and the lease allows for reasonable updates and changes to community policies and procedures that may take effect immediately provided that we notify all apartment homes.When the clubrooms in both our buildings were accessible hours, we experienced incredible amounts of damage and misuse, including unauthorized use of the rooms well after the approved hours of operation, unsanitary use of the kitchen amenities and broken or missing furniture As we researched options, we found that many of our comparable communities closed their clubrooms at the end of the business day In an effort to preserve the space to be in acceptable condition for the use of all residents in the community, we updated our policy to limit accessibility to the clubrooms at the end of the business workday The clubroom may still be used after hours for private parties, as long as a reservation is made with the office, the deposits are paid and the party ends at the appropriated time. The rate to rent the space for private parties after hours remains the same and, in addition, we added the much less expensive option for a ‘quick rental’ for smaller parties to use the space for small events at less than a quarter of the cost for a full rental Further, the space remains free of cost and fully accessible during office hours, including weekends We believe that this will best serve to preserve the space and to allow all residents to comfortably use the space.Our company has long been working towards adding a package locker delivery system to the property as an added amenityThe locker system offers 24/pickup times and photo capture of all who deliver and pick up packages from the lockersThe setup fee we selected is the lowest amount of all our comparable communities with locker systems in place The fee for unclaimed packages is $per day with a maximum of $(or two days) before the item is withdrawn from the locker and returned to senderThe goal of this fee is to encourage residents to quickly retrieve their deliveries so that lockers can remain in consistent use and to reduce any chance of a backup of deliveries. *** ***Revdex.com Complaint ID ***Page 2Residents may opt out of using the locker system and opt to pick up their deliveries from the carrier hubs instead and we have worked very hard to get all the information out to our residents as we rolled out the new system.
