For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Memo to: Revdex.com Date: July 6, 2015Customer rebuttal to case # ID ***This will be the last customer entry into case # ID ***.Two prior events dredging out the boat slip at our home resulted in charges of $While we thought those charges were excessive, we paid due to equipment, time and material required for the work.Never have we received any written projected costs, hourly charges or minimum required from port to port for dredging work performedThe work was performed in-water on May 6, and the boat slip was no more / no less filled with material compared to the first two dredging experiencesThe only difference in was an increase in cost by 50% / $additional dollars versus previous dredging. Tony is correct, when the slip was not totally cleaned, he asked if I wanted him to return to complete the project; I said noReason being if we were overcharged by 50%, why would we willfully accept another overpriced invoice in slip dredging to complete what should have been done the first time? We are finished using South Shore Dredge and would only use another company or a land based option of clearing material from our boat slip.*** ***Home Owner

with a 4 hour minimum from port to port. The work performed in 2014 was NOT in the month of August, but on September 10, 2014 and October 3, 2014. When working on another project in Bay Village as a favor to the contractor that built [redacted]’s project. While my crew and I were on route, we stopped and removed what the excavator could reach and stack on SSDD I on two separate trips, which was approximately 1/2 way into the boat slip for the 4-hour minimum each time.I informed [redacted] if he would like the rest of the slip cleared, I would put the crane on the barge and bring a dump scow to remove material from the boat slip. .[redacted] called 4-5 times to have this slip cleared Spring 2015. I told [redacted] we would get to his project on May 6, 2015. We spent a day beforehand putting the crane (25 ton Lorain) on the barge with 60 foot of boom and one yard clam bucket at no charge for [redacted] project. There was also a day for the crew to remove the crane when the project was over. On May 6, 2015 at approximately 9 PM I talked to [redacted] to inform him that we had removed two times more material than 2014 and there was about two hours and more work to be done. We could safe harbor for the night at Avon Lake Power Plant and finish in the morning. [redacted]’s response was “No! That's good enough. I DO NOT want anymore work done"When it came to travel time to move SSDD I, 909 excavator, and 25 ton Lorain Crane, SSDD 51 dump scow, and Tug Cojak on common water travel speed is between 3.9-4.0 knots and the clistanee from SSDD home Dock Lorain and customers property by way of shipping channel out of Lorain harbor then shipping lane to [redacted] and to customers property is over 14 miles. That is 3 hours each way, 6 hours plus on the day of question, N&S Rail Bridge in Lorain delayed our travels for approximately 45 minutes.
