Durango Doors stands behind the quality of our product by offering a standard year warranty The warranty on this project has NEVER been void or service refused.The order for this project was processed on July 28th, 2014, six (6) weeks and days later the unit arrived complete and ready for
installation in our warehouse on September 12th, Our standard lead time for delivery and installation is 6-weeks for a new construction project and 10-weeks for a full remodel This project was a full remodel and we were well within our quoted time frame Once the unit arrives and is ready for installation we notify the builder or project manager that as long as the deposit has been paid we can schedule installation at their earliest convenience and based on our schedule From that point we do not reach out to the builder again regarding installation, they will generally contact us when the site is ready for installation I cannot speak to what held up the scheduling of their installation as we were not the project managers nor general contractor for their remodel Once we were notified that they were ready for installation we installed and completed the unit on February 5th, In May 2015, we were contacted regarding the door needing touch up paint We serviced the door by sanding and repainting areas that needed it After this service there has been no communication regarding problems until September We scheduled a service appointment on September 26, after inspecting the unit it was determined that a "paint touch up" would not be the best solution for the unit It was determined that we would completely sand and repaint the door so that any and all paint issues would be resolved After speaking with Ms***, we scheduled an appointment for October 11, based on her availability to fully repaint the door At this time I feel we have acted responsibly and with concern for the homeowners satisfaction I believe that once the unit is fully repainted there will be no additional issues regarding paint The warranty on this project is valid for years from the date of completion which will be February 9,
