South Texas Windows and Roofing

I have completed as required and have explained to himI went and removed shingles to show that the required felt is thereI gave the pictures to the engineerHe does not need a new roofWhen I did go to show it was correct he had given me permission to do so and I then received a notice from
his attorney that I was on his property without permissionI have done what was required and am quite upset about this complaint

I have sent the pictures to Mr ***What he has I don't knowWe have three layers of felt on the roof and I have the pictures to prove itI don't know what else to say

I am rejecting this response because: I was about to make a decision between this contractor and another contractor and since both were on the Revdex.com site with great reviews, it came down with price and assuring the windstorm certificateThis contractor came down on his price and told me "I don't have to do anything and that all work would be done and I would have the certificate"I also paid for the certificate service "engineer" to the contractorWhen I spoke with the contractor he kept giving excuses about how the engineer being back logged and that he also lost his contact informationThen when I contacted the engineer's office, the secretary told me that the engineer stated that he knows for a fact the work was not double felt and is why he did not certify the roofBecause after several months the contactor had to rectify the certificate, my insurance company dropped my insurance due to no certificateBecause of that, I had to find another company that will cover me at a more expensive price due to insuring me with no certificateTherefore, I paid the contractor for this service and he did not deliverI do like the roof and never complained about thatMy concern is that I paid for the certificate and went with this contractor as he promised I had "nothing to worry about and had nothing to do in this work for the certificate"I am upset that this contractor kept making excuses for months instead of getting my roof certificate

I am rejecting this response because: It appears that I paid this contractor to handle the roof and the certificate and due to the contractor unable to produce  certificate from his work that he was paid for, I lost my insurance and had to search for another insurance company that charges me more money because I don't have the certificate. I am really disappointed that the contractor that I chose based on the Revdex.com ratings and his assurance of completing all expected and went down on his price is "passing the buck" on the engineer company that he obtained and I paid for.
