Southampton Auto & Marine Upholstery

We dropped off our convertible for a quote and to potentially have an upholstery job done while we were away on vacation. We dealt with Mike and trusted our car was in good hands. He had the car for a week and a half and all he managed to do was break our convertible top by manually forcing it open (busted the hydraulic pump). Additionally, our car was filthy, covered in black grease with new dings/scratches while in his care. We had to repeatedly call Mike to request resolution to this matter. The end result was he dropped the car at the Mercedes dealer and they will fix it for $4,000 which we have to pay in order to get our car back to the shape it was it was in when we left it with Southampton Auto & Marine Upholstery. Mike not only refused to take any responsibility, he won't contribute at all to fixing the problem and a friend or fellow employee at the shop threatened my husband. This business is unprofessional, irresponsible and cannot be trusted. I would never recommend them for any job.
