Southampton Dental Reviews (3)

I am once again responding to the above complaint.I stated in my last response that I would copy and mail the radiographs (letter dated 02-28-17) within days, which I did.I am not incompetent, not combative and spiteful, and definitely desire to come to full resolution of this claim. The radiographs were indeed mailed to the address in Imperial, as stated in his written request. This information was mailed on 03-08-(within the days promised).According to the tracking with the United States Postal Service, they have attempted delivery twice and left notice of said delivery each time. Once on 03-17-and again on 03-14-17. According to the notice on the tracking print-out, he can call the post office to reschedule deliver. Otherwise it will be at his post office for piMarch 15-March 25. If failed to be picked-up/signed for, it will be returned to our office as undeliverable.I have also attached receipts of the postage to include dates, as well as the tracking from the postal service. Please advise if you need anything further from our office

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:After reviewing the company's response to my complaint, I find this situation/issue all that more unacceptable. It appears the respondent, [redacted], the office manager for Southampton Dental, did not fully read the...

complaint/circumstances. Instead only wishing to provide a commercial for what she believes to be "outstanding service" rather than addressing any of the issues a patient might have to the contrary. For if she had read the complaint, she would have known why I contacted the office recently, as I stated, "I did not fully remember the past circumstances [three years ago] until I spoke once more with [redacted] at the front desk." Also, it was my case manager who had suggested to me that I try and give this office another chance and contact them in the first place. [redacted] writes in her reply, "after appearing for his appointment on 8-24-14, he failed to appear the next two consecutive appointments on 10-13-14 and 01-12-15." In my complaint this is also addressed, as I stated, the office was aware I do not drive and my ride stated she would not be able to take me on this date. I called and cancelled the appointment hours before due to this reason. At that time I also cancelled the future appointment, to better discuss a care plan or reasoning to pull four wisdom teeth that had no relevant issues; they grew in straight, there was no crowding, there were no issues at the time to extract them. [redacted] then states, "he contacted our office on 01-15-15 to reschedule, when we told him that we would not reschedule, as he failed to show/same day cancelled for two consecutive 90 min appointments." "And that we would wait until he showed for the remaining appointments prior to going forward." Which is it? Did I same-day cancel the first appointment and the furture appointment, or did I same-day cancel both? Or did I no-show for both? I specifically stated these appointments, which [redacted] reiterated in the first account of events. I same-day cancelled the first appointment due to my ride not being able to take me, and cancelled the future appointment. Which, I stated I would call back to reschedule to further discuss a more acceptable care plan. In [redacted]'s last account, what appointments were they waiting to see if I appeared for, when I called back to reschedule on 01-15-15? There were no other appointments, I cancelled both of them. [redacted]'s timeline of events makes no sense, other than to justify, excuse their unprofessional behavior.Even if the office has a strict two [2] time no-show policy, which is what they are trying to claim I "abused," the dates and accounts by the office manager does not corroborate this scenario. I never had a no-show. I called in several hours before my first appointment, and at that time cancelled the furture appointment months in advance. Knowing my circumstances of not driving, having a team of case workers, and unable to appear due to reasons beyond my control, anyone with an ounce of intellectual capacity and professionalism and would understand the cancelling of the first appointment. However, that isn't the true issue here, the issue is my questioning the procedure of extracting four wisdom teeth that no reasonable explanation was given. At which time [redacted] became rude and combative, then claimed I was a no-show patient that "abused" office policy, when clearly from [redacted]'s own accounts is false. Frankly, I couldn't care less about the dates above, or this office, [redacted], or [redacted]'s desire to manipulate the truth and facts. I will now take that up with further complaints to both the [redacted] and the [redacted]. What my concern is, I filed this complaint the day before [for my records], that I sent out a written request to have my records sent to me personally. This was now a month ago. Per [redacted]'s account, their office has received my written request, however, I still have not received the requested records. Per our conversation over the phone in which she claims "the patient was making a quite a disturbance with the front office staff." I called per my case worker to schedule an appointment as I did not fully remember the extent of this office or staffs unprofessional behavior; if I had, I wouldn't have bothered. Though, per the initial conversation, [redacted] disconnected the call. I called back to ask for that employees name, which it was stated, and then the call was once again disconnected. I called a third time to ask how I could have my records sent to me, which I was going to ask the second time before being hung up on. [redacted] stated to send a letter in writing, which I did. However, I still have not received my records. She may claim as she tried in the company's initial response that "patients [who are 36yrs old] are not mature enough to keep sent records without losing or destroying them." However, if she mailed them to the address they have on file without noticing the address on the mailing envelope, or within the Revdex.com complaint, this would only lend further to their incompetence and desire to be combative and spiteful rather than reach a resolution. They never contacted me, nor would I expect them to, to ask if all mailing information is correct. Until I receive the records in their entirety, as promised by [redacted], and per her response to the Revdex.com, I do not accept this office or staff's response. Sincerely,
[redacted] PS- They may also want to rethink their "glowing reviews," per the [Yelp] attachment, which there are several more on many difference forums. It seems they are just disgruntled that I may be the first to formally document such interactions.
