The customer service at Southboro Auto Body was disastrous, due to the horrible communication between managementAfter several phone calls over a time span of five weeks, I wouldn't get any calls back from the owner, even after repeatedly asking for a call back and for necessary information regarding my vehicleEvery time my husband or I called to speak to Simon, the owner, he either was not there, was not available, or did not own a personal phone that we could use to contact himAfter getting out of work early and losing money in the process, I went to the shop to speak to the owner and discuss the awful customer serviceThe owner, Simon, was very disrespectful and rude, even to the point of raising his voice at my husbandAfter I respectfully asked him to lower his voice and not yell at my husband, he said he was done with us and walked awayWe are honestly shocked at the level of customer service at Southboro Auto BodyWe will obviously never return and never refer our friends, family, or coworkers to this shopIf you are considering this location for your auto body needs, my advice to you is to walk in the opposite directionAs for thoroughness and quality, my vehicle was returned with a few scratches and dents that were not there when we handed our car over to themThis is not surprising, as their location's outdoor space is lacking and cars are packed in very tightly in the backAlso, due to the poor customer service and awful management, it is only to be expected that the quality of the work would be poorWe have no idea how this place is still in business

Target complete Date/Time = Days to repair my car = 14 days, In fact it took more than 30 days to be able to drive my car back home.Some of the work that was suppose to be done by the bodyshop wasn't done.Some of the parts that was suppose to be replaced, was not replaced what so ever.The insure company paid for all parts plus and labor, therefore I should have received my car in perfect conditions.The inspection was done by [redacted] - [redacted]@libertymutual.com and the final inspection reveled that some part that were not replaced compromise the safety of my car and my/passengers as well.South borough Auto Body, collected the money from [redacted] and never used it to fixe my car.Desired SettlementI need to have my car fixed for an independente Bodyshop, I don't trust these people and don't recommend them to anyone/anybody..... or have all my money back.Business Response After reviewing this complaint my response is:1)Car came in [redacted] in [redacted] we received over 10 feet of snow; we only worked three(3) days a week in the Shop and two (2) days per week plowing snow, moving and cleaning cars. Insurance Company was delayed on estimates + supplements and also major delays in parts from warehouse to dealership and dealership to shop.2)Owner signed a repair order allowing us to make decision on what to repair and how and what parts to replace. Owner needed a new starter in his car at a cost of [redacted] job was sublet for repairs, owner spent only [redacted] out of his pocket for repairs and parts not used or repaired and not replaced, that money saved was used to pay off balance of bill for extra work not covered by Insurance Company.3)Safety issue was not a factor since any repair involving safety was repaired involving that insurance company paid for. Rear muffler that only had been dented and no holes or damaged seams existed muffler would have been replace for appearance only not for safety.So in conclusion we had no control over rather and delays caused by snow owner wanted additional work done at a minor cost and savings on repairs covered most of out of pocket expenses and safety of vehicle was not compromised. We are sorry that the owner was unhappy on overall repair process but in the end he received all around good job plus additional work needed at a minimal cost. If owner wants to stop at shop so we can explain to him and to try to correct problems he has but it will have to be our choice and final decision, all we want to try to make him happy with repairs and regain our trust if he needs our services again.
