My air conditioner is temperamental and likes to quit on me at the beginning of every summer. I asked friends in the area who I should call who wouldn't overcharge me and would do a good job and I had several people suggest Southeastern Climate. He came to the house the next day and fixed the problem and didn't try to sell me a bunch of services I didn't need. Last month the A/C quit yet again (not due to the job he did the prior year but because it's old and needs replacing soon). I posted something on Facebook and tagged him in it saying I'd need his help the next week as it was a Sunday and the next day was Memorial Day. He called and came out that afternoon and had cool air blowing within an hour. This company, and Richard Y[redacted] in particular, are wonderful and I highly suggest their services.
