Poor customer services. Threats to place debt on my credit and assumed the debt was accurate.I returned a missed call to XXX-XXX-XXXX. I stated my name to rep. The rep. advised me that I owed 180.00 to Dr. [redacted]. I advised the rep. that I didn't owe Dr. [redacted] anything. Her immediate response was that she would just put it on my credit and that she would note my account a failure to pay after I told her I didn't owe. I then placed a call to Dr. [redacted]'s office and spoke [redacted] advised me that the bill was not services that I had received but for Services rendered to another person that was covered under my insurance at the time. [redacted] advised me that it was nothing that they could do and that I would need to contact Southeastern Financial to have them to remove my name and go after the person who received the services. [redacted] provided me with XXX-XXX-XXXX.I called XXX-XXX-XXXX and asked to speak with a supervisor. The representative who answered the number was the same person I had previously spoken with. The rep. identified herself as the supervisor and acknowledged me as well. I asked to speak with a different supervisor. The rep. stated that she was the only employee. The rep told me that I needed to listen before I miss out. The rep.then told me to have a good day maam.Desired SettlementI would appreciate better customer service.I would like for this collection agency to seek payment from the person who received the service. I am sick and tired of people or collection agencies assuming that everything that is being reported is accurate and that they can just call the consumer up and speak to them any kind of way. This is the first call I have received from this agency. I am aware of my rights as a consumer. I have not been given thirty days to respond to any debtBusiness Response Dear [redacted] ; Case #40102672 has been processed for review.. Dr. office was contacted immediately upon dispute of services rendered by debtor. Client confirmed debtor signed as responsible party on file. Balance after insurance billed is the responsibility of the insurer. Insurance services were billed thru debtors insurance plan, therefore balance after insurance is the responsibility of debtor. Dr. Office stated to leave debtor as responsible party, because services rendered to a third party were covered under debtors insurance at the time. While the circumstances of a bill may not justify the actions of due process- the responsible party of due process is identified by the insurance billing procedure. The debtor placed for collection would therefore owe the balance because she signed as the responsible party , insurance was billed thru her insurer, and she had been making payments to the client on behalf of third party, per clients office. Balance after insurance is billed correctly, and debtor should consider collecting from a third party not placed for collection. Sincerely , Southeastern Financial Services

Complaint[redacted] at the[redacted], TN office called my work and become loud, hostile and aggressive. This woman was completely unprofessional. This office needs to fire Mrs [redacted] she is unpleasant and unprofessional. She called my work about a dentist my husband went to. I asked her not to call my work and told her she needed to get the money from my husband. She got even louder and threatened me and said she would sue me. I tried to talk to her about calling my work and about the bill she just stated the conversion was over and hung up on me. I tried to call her back numerous times which she picked up the phone and said conversation is over. Then she just stated picking up and hanging up. This company is completely unprofessionalDesired SettlementI dont want anything but for this woman to grow up and DONT call my job again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Business Response Dear Revdex.com; Case # [redacted] has been processed for review. Very rude and unprofessional!! Customer service is not their main goal. Harassing and very condescending tones when she calls for payment. Rude representative [redacted] called me for an upcoming payment due. I explained to her that I would not make payment that month but would double my next month payment. She became very loud and disrespectful. I tried to talk to her however she hung up in my face. I called her because I was appalled at her behavior. But it shouldn't have struck me as such a suprise because she has been rude since the day I set up payment arrangement. I stoped paying on my account because of her condescending tone. I called to report her to her manage and it was even worse speaking with her. This company need to be closed. Poor customer service and definitely don't respect its clients. Desired Settlement[redacted] needs to be reprimend or terminated. Disrespect and harassment should not be tolerated. Business Response Case # XXXXXXXX has been checked for review. Collector was advised to be nice to debtors who miss payments for several months. Collector will adjust tone so debtor will feel more like paying on account. Collector will adjust attitude and be more customer service friendly! Sincerely , Southeastern....

The company did not follow agreed instructions. [redacted] (owner) spoke to me in an extremely degrading manor and verbally assaulted my character. I am currently in debt of a medical bill that is exactly one year old. [redacted] and his employees began calling me in April of 2013 to collect a debt. In June of 2013 I spoke with a woman by the name of [redacted] and set up and automatic payment schedule that was to be ran every other Friday (my paydays). [redacted] failed to post a payment on August 16th, 2013 because she was on vacation. [redacted] posted the payment on August 21st 2013, when she returned from vacation. The date she posted the transaction was not in accordance with the agreement, and caused me to overdraft my account. I contacted Southeastern Financial Services to rectify the problem. The first person I poke with was [redacted], who took my message to give to [redacted]. After speaking with [redacted] she very rudely told me that they don't give refunds and that she was simply following my directions and did nothing wrong. I told [redacted] that she didn't notify that a payment would be posted on a date other than what was agreed upon and that the company is at fault for the overdraft charge. [redacted] very loudly said "I'm done with this conversation you can talk to the owner." [redacted] called me and began the conversation calmly, however he did not allow me to make an explanation of the issue began verbally assaulting my character stating "$70.00 ain't nothing to me, I mean come on are you serious?! What's $70.00 going to do?" I told [redacted] that $70.00 was in fact a lot to me and sometimes $70.00 missing from my account means that I won't be eating that weak. [redacted] laughed and said "You're kidding me! How old are you?? You are acting like a child." I told [redacted] my age and laughed again stating that he was 60 years old and that he has been in business for a long time and he has done nothing wroDesired SettlementI am seeking a reimbursement of $70.00 for an overdraft incurred to my account that was due to an error on behalf of southeastern financial. The faulty is [redacted] (an employee) and [redacted], the owner of the business.Business Response Case [redacted] has been reimbursed for the alleged overdraft loss of $70.00 on July 28th 2013. No additional payments will be processed by agency. The patient-debtor will pay the credit grantor.

Southeastern Financial is in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices ActMy account was turned over to Southeastern from a medical office. Since they have received my information the staff has continued to call my phone number after repeated requests to communicate exclusively in writing. On the morning of September 21st, 2015 the office then communicated with my mother-in-law concerning the debt. They have no right to communicate with family concerning this debt and have not complied with my request to communicate in writing. Desired SettlementI am requesting that my debt be discharged by the business, any negative remarks on my credit be removed, and all communication with this company cease immediately. Business Response Hi [redacted]; No violations have occurred in processing this account. On Sept 11, 2015 patient debtor was contacted about balance due. Patient Debtor responded that she has more insurance than what was used and she would call Doctors office and update the insurance. She did not call the doctors office per client. Patient Debtor also requested we call her back on Sept 18th 2015 and follow up. Southeastern Financial Service did follow up on said date and telephone number was disconnected. The only other provided phone number was contacted and a leave word was left for the patient debtor to call the office. On Sept. 21 responsible party (not patient debtor) called office and stated it is was against the law to contact his phone number and began to scream and curse the collector for contact, a violation of Federal Communications Law on his part. Any request by patient debtor must be in writing to agency , not verbal assault. Client has been contacted and confirmed balance is due, plus PPO discount which patient debtor did not qualify for. The balance due is the deductable after original insurance was filed. Patient debtor will not be allowed to reschedule until balance is paid per client office. Responsible party for medical bills in the state of Tennessee should pay his balance due and stop harassing the client by not paying his bill! No further communications have or will be processed by agency. Client will not discharge the balance due, and it must be paid prior to any future appointments by patient debtor.
