Complaint[redacted] came to my home asking for yard work. He had worked here twice previously when the company was under different ownership. I had plenty of yard, landscape work for him to do. I wrote him a check for various plants of which he delivered only 6. I wrote him a check for mulch (which I had done twice in previous years.) He never came back w/ the mulch, but he did rake SOME leaves. Another afternoon he trimmed bushes and asked if I could pay him the rest of what we agreed I would pay for his services: as his utilities were going to be turned off if he didn't pay his bill that day. Foolishly I didI thought I knew him and that he would be back the next day to finish. That was over 3 weeks ago. I have tried to call him, but he will not pick up the phone. I told him last week that I would notify you this week if I did not hear from him by Fri. evening. I am out $778.00 and got about $100 worth of plants and service. What can be done??? I feel foolish and scammed. I hope you can keep him from stealing from other little old ladies.Desired SettlementI would like for him to return my money. I consider this stealing and actually a matter for the police, but I am starting with the Revdex.com. I will gladly pay for the shrubs and the 2.5 hours of work that he did, but otherwise, I want my money back.
