Southern California Edison Company Reviews (4)

Southern California Edison is a poorly run entityAfter opening my account with them I checked my account several times and it showed that I owed them a $balance which didn't seem correct to meI called them twice to try to navigate through their completely automated telephone service, but it is poorly done and it did not provide me with the answers I neededAfter emailing them several times I had received no response and this finally came to a head once my power was shut off and a representative called me to turn my power back onIf there were ANY other options for an electric company I'm sure they would be better than Sothern California EdisonThey certainly wouldn't have to try too hard

I have wrote several reviews on the consumer affairs website regarding several matters about southern ca edison and they did not publish them so I am complaining about this company and all the outragous billing they are doing they are taking from the poor and giving to the rich.edison is not a honest co .I have never seen any one come and read my meter within the past10 years so how would they know wat are charged are .there talking our most highest bill and going off that.edison is very rude and dishonest they have done this to too many people its very mind boggling why no one has seen all the complaints and ridicoulous bills this co has gotten away with but now I know my rights as a citizen violations under city codes and limits unforntunately this is the only electric co around area

Placed a work-order for Edison to replace light bulbs on three separate cement lamp posts in Temecula, CA because I jogged a certain path on a city street every night. I called to get a reference number and Edison asked for me to provide post numbers which were provided. Edison told me that they lights would be replaced after 5-7 business days unless there was a major power outage. After a month had gone by the lights were still out, called Edison and the customer service rep said the work-order was placed.....however there was no other info the employee could give out and to call back within another week if the lights have still not been replaced. It has been TWO months now and still every night I jog this path on the city street and noticed it the lights are still out. Called Edison again today (01/20/16) and spoke to the customer service supervisor Christina employee number #2107. She told me that the original work-order/reference number given stated the employees that went to go fix the lights could not find them, because they read the notes wrong......as the lights were out on another street than what I original gave? Really? So instead of asking the employee that wrote the notes on work-order which street the lights and ID numbers were on, Edison cancelled the work-order all together? Edison had my contact number and name attached to the this work-order but of course didn't call to verify.
So the supervisor Christina stated they have to make a new work-order and get the lamp post numbers again (that I already provided when I made the claim two months ago but they didn't know put the lamp post numbers in the system) in order to have their service employees go back out and finally fix the lights!? The customer service is a joke with Southern California Edison and I am a paying residential customer of Edison, since it is not an emergency to them nor make any money off of fixing these lights.....Edison cancels the work-order because it is not important to them.

Southern California Edison is a poorly run entity. After opening my account with them I checked my account several times and it showed that I owed them a $0 balance which didn't seem correct to me.
