I worked with Southerncat, Inc. on a water loss on my home and they were FANTASTIC. They walked me thru every step of my claim and worked hand in hand with my adjuster. They were very professional and the workers were always courteous. My home was restored in a timely manner and the work was beautiful. I can't thank them enough.

They not only do work for different communities all over the country, but they also serve the communities by giving back, as well. If I could give them more than a 5 star, I would!

While Southern CAT may be one of the best disaster recovery organizations to turn to when disaster strikes, the real value of their services are realized BEFORE disaster strike. Take full advantage of their pre-disaster assessments/recovery plans so that you have a world class recovery partner if/when a disaster impacts your organization.

My company worked as a Sub-Contractor under Southern Cat during Hurricane Michael in Panama City. This was one of the most organized and well run jobs we have ever been a part of. Safety is a big concern on big Diaster jobs, Southern Cat proved that a safe job site is their priority.

The staff and management at Southern Cat are highly trained, experienced and extremely knowledgeable in their industry. Southern Cat was engaged for dryout and restoration services.

They are overcharging for their services and some of their repair work has failed.
Southern Cat was engaged by our insurance company, Brown and *** immediately after hurricane Matthew to perform dryout and drywall restoration of the Nautilus Condominium. Due to the damage from water intrusion from the storm, we needed a restoration company immediately and engaged Southern Cat to perform the dryout. They also worked with Brown and *** and a claims adjuster, World Claim Services, to create the total insurance claim and damage cost estimate to restore our condominium. Over a year after the claim was submitted, we are still waiting for the final offer from Brown and *** Many of the estimated costs from Southern Cat have not been agreed to by the insurance company due to the large amounts of overhead and uplifts associated with the estimate. They have not performed all the work in the claim submission, but are trying to get paid for all the work that was in the claim. They were supposed to help World Claim get our claim paid out on a timely basis, but have not had any success getting the claim paid. Further, a tennis fence repair they performed was not done properly and has already been wiped out by hurricane Irma. If the work was done properly, we believe the fence would have withstood that storm. They continue to request additional payments from the Nautilus without any corresponding documentation to substantiate the additional funds. We have asked them for documentation to support the payment and they have not provided it.
