Review: Directed into car wash...not properly lined up resulting in a damaged beyond repair tire on my car. I called to discuse a reembursement for a new tire on april 22 @ 11 am and on april 23 at 11:45 am and on april 24 at 9am. This incedent occured on april 17 at 11 am. No one has ever returned my callsDesired Settlement: I am requesting the business to pay me for the tire replacement.

On April 17 , 2015, we sent 228 through the car wash conveyor. Thiscomplaint is the only problem we encountered. When entering the carwash we have attendants to direct you in the conveyor. We also haveyellow rollers to guide the wheel into the proper space.When this customer entered the car wash, he was going too fast andtoo far left. The attendant was motioning for him to slow down andturn the wheel to the right. He drove up on the conveyor and his tirebusted.The manager was going to try and change the tire but it had a lockingkey that the customer did not have with him. A tow truck was calledand it took about an hour to arrive. During this time, the customerbecame very unpleasant and raising his voice about everything we willhave to pay for.I do apologize for not returning his calls. I was out of work becausemy husband had back surgery.I do not feel the tire busting was the fault of the equipment or theattendant. I think the customer was distracted or not paying attention.With that being said we will not be paying for the tire.Sincerely,[redacted]

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The manager was not there at the time of the incident and of course the attendant is not going to assume any responsibility for this incident. Do you really think I was not paying attention when I am driving my high end vehicle? If the attendant had attempted to change my direction, I would have turned the wheel the other way. Is it possible that the attendant was not paying attention? I understand that the manager had a personal situation at home to deal with but the response time was not satisfactory. I feel that management should reconsider their response or or least compromise.

Mr. [redacted] did in fact deal with the manager at the car wash. He offered tochange the tire for him. We watched the video and the attendant did try to havehim move to the right.To resolve this matter, Mr. [redacted] can bring the paid invoice and homeaddress to the car wash. We will be willing to pay half of the cost of the tire. Acheck will be sent to his home address.Sincerely,[redacted]
