Southern Custom Awnings

Review: The owner Mr. John E[redacted] came to our house, once to take awning measurements in order to offer us a quote, and a second time when we awarded him the job. We gave him a 50% deposit with our order, $900. Once the deposit was given to him, it took weeks before we found it necessary to physically drive to his house to confront him about installation. After our visit he did come complete the job in a couple weeks. One of the awnings we either miss measured or miss cut, which allows part of the frame work to show. It is not large, perhaps measuring 1" by 10". We told him it was not necessary to remove the awning and recut that one side panel, just come back with some material and some Velcro, stick that piece on the frame to cover the hole. He has not come back, he has not answered phone calls or emails to his office, thus the reason to file the complaint.Desired Settlement: Ask him to contact us for an appointment, and bring the necessary material to cover the frame as promised. Simple enough. It should not take him 5 minutes to complete this work.
