the admin clerks required payment in full. Insurance paid all but $25.00 within 10 days. Four months later, still unable to get balance refunded.
Dr visit was 11/27/2017. Paid full amount $350.00 at time of visit. This is not normal practice, knowing insurance would be filed. I received statement from blue cross showing account adjusted to $203.00. Insurance claim processed on 12/08/2017 showing Southern Dermatology Center paid $182.70, leaving coinsurance $20.30. I have contacted the office three times, getting no where. One time promised correction by the end of February. We have not received a statement from the Dr office during this time.
I would like the credit balance refunded from my account. I paid the Dr office in good faith, and have not be able to get any action on this. I have also cancelled any future visits to this doctor.
Since filing this complaint, I have received a check refunding the over payment. Thanks so much for the help.
