I have had excellent service from Southern Goodman Mechanical for the past 4-5 years. Stacey always calls to set up the appointment and is very professional and pays attention to detail. The technicians are always professional, courteous and friendly and make sure they clean up behind themselves. Todays technician was Nathan and not only did he do a superb job I even got him to sit down and have a slice or two of pizza. Great job to all at Southern Goodman Mechanical. By the way the pizza was totally above and beyond expectation. Thanks Stacey & Nathan.

Our family of [redacted] had the a/c unit stop blowing cold air on a degree summer day in [redacted] The Southern Goodman technician came out and called me at work after he discussed the issues with my wifeApparently, the a/c unit was reaching the end of its useful life and needed to be replaced I asked a few basic questions about how he diagnosed the issue and he answered professionally and indicated that he essentially troubleshot every possible issue and we just had to bite the bullet and replace the unit When I asked how much for a replacement I was told around $*k for a [redacted] and $*k for an off-brandIt was such a large investment we told him we needed to review the situation with friends and family before making a decisionWe paid the $ [redacted] diagnostic fee to come out and let us know what was wrong A family friend was an a/c repair man (not available the day prior) who came out the next morning, placed some Freon in the unit, replaces the air filter, charged a $ [redacted] servi

David C [redacted] came to do an annual check of my system, He was on time and did a very good checkand explained everything he as doing and showed the results.He also made a minor adjustment to a pipe so that I could easily access the filter and he cleaned the filter, He was extremely polite and professional

Jennifer called from the business stated that the pricing is set by a third party so there is no break down of the costThey cant provide that information since they do not have itShe stated that if a copy of the extended warranty is provided or if the warranty company reaches out to them with that informationIf the extended warranty verification is provided at that time they will check into the situation

Called business spoke with Jennifer she stated that they came to an agreement to resolve the issueThe agreement involved a refund

Carson came out and did an annual check on my system He was very thorough, explained what he was checking for, and then went over the results Very refreshing to have knowledgeable and friendly techs, and I would recommend him anytime you need service

Southern Goodman told me the evaporator coil they replaced was out of warranty I have now contacted the distributor and had the warranty extended based on the likely fail date However, Southern Goodman will not reveal the price for the part, so I do not know how much my refund should be This seems to be a dishonest business practice

I was very impressed by Joseph Bof Southern Goodman with his outstanding service yesterday (7/2/18)He was on time, explained everything in detail, wore protection over his shoes without me even asking, closed all the doors/covers in the garage and crawl spaces afterwards, courteous and professional throughout the service callPlease pass on my thanks and appreciationstars!!!

On 6/15/I called Southern Goodman to come to my home and diagnose my air-conditioning issuesThe diagnosis was a bad condenserThey quoted me a price for a new condenser/coil/furnaceI agreed to the choice of equipment at [redacted] The technician called his office to secure financingMy wife and I spoke to an office staff via the technicians cell phone and we were deniedThey had me write a check for the services that they had provided thus far, and they would try to secure financing through another vendorUpon approval they would return the check and I would work out the financial arrangements with the vendor once they made contact with usThe afternoon of 6/15/I e-mailed documentation to a company called [redacted] to verify our incomeThey called to verify it was receivedI did not receive any documentation, nor did I speak to anyone during the days from 6/16/through 6/21/The morning of 6/21/at approximately 8:am, a Southern Goodman technician arrive

Southern Goodman replaced our AC system years ago and upgraded to the best system for our cape codThe price was to less than competitors and included a whole house humidifierThe work was completed in one day and have had no issues sinceNovember Southern Goodman replaced our gas heater and again cheaper than competitorsThey have made two inspections and all is wellJennifer always calls and verifies date and time of appointments and makes sure there are no concerns

I appreciate the job that Brandon did with installing my programmable thermostat' He was very gracious in taking the time to show me how to use it without me reading the entire book to get the instructions He was quick and very efficient and I will be calling on Southern Goodman for any service work for heat and air in the future

Our tech, Brandon H., was wonderful to work with and a technician that was obviously customer oriented and fully knowledgeable about the system we had installed by [redacted]   [redacted] Brandon was polite, personable, and went the extra mile to thoroughly handle our quarterly service visit - verifying that all areas/aspects that needed to be covered to ensure our system was functioning correctly Brandon is a definite asset to Southern Goodman and the tech we will definitely ask for on all future quarterly service visits Our rating regarding Southern Goodman as a company is driven specifically to our experience with Brandon and the service he provided

In SeptGoodman Southern Mechanical replaced our heat pump HVAC system which included a yr warrantyOne morning during the cold snap of Janwe awoke with the house at degwith the system working at full capacity We requested and paid for a service visit The service man noticed immediately that the emergency heating system was undersized for the size of our house and did not match the existing wiringIt was determined that the original system had emergency heat with a KW capacity and the new system for some reason was installed with a KW capacity I was not aware of and did not authorize this reduction I spoke to the Goodman office manager and he agreed to restore the original KW capacityGoodman has since declined to fulfill this commitmentWe are now stuck with an inadequate heating system and a worthless warranty with a company that does not honor its commitmentsAnyone considering using this company should be warned

Continue to be impressed with the services provided by Southern Goodman Office is easy to deal with and their technicians are very professional Joseph Bjust completed our semiannual maintenance and he was prompt, polite and thorough I would definitely recommend Southern Goodman and have been very pleased with their work
