[redacted] To whom it may concern at Revdex.com, I received this complaint and am baffled by itFirst of all, we only have rooms to rent, that is rooms to run a business on; we are not a hotel with rooms to absorb loss of revenueOur biggest times of the year are holidaysOur policy states that we require a 6-month cancellation for holiday bookingsThe policy is found on our website and is written in every emailed confirmationOur policy also recommends trip insurance that can be purchased very inexpensively to cover needed cancellationsMs [redacted] rented rooms this year for Memorial Day weekend which is a major holiday weekend nationally knownShe had 20% of our business tied up so no one else could rent our roomsEven after threats of sabotaging our place of business and expressing that she will deliberately act irate if she was forced to cancel her other plans to stay here, we offered a solutionWe explained to her that if we were able to re-rent the rooms she would not be charged the full amount due with the exception of the $cancellation fee [redacted] still was not satisfied and continued threatening us with horrendous consequencesThis was completely uncalled for and unacceptable behaviorWe again asked her to give us time and see if we could re-rent the rooms At this point, I have re-rented of the rooms and we are hoping to rent the 3rd room as well [redacted] will not be responsible for the room rates that were re-booked and if the 3rd room is re-booked we will not charge her for that room eitherThere is high probability that the 3rd room will be bookedFrom there we will refund her the rates with the exception of the $processing feeSincerely, [redacted]

I'm writing to dispute the complaint: ***Southern Grace Bed and Breakfast is a very popular wedding venue*** *** bought a Bid on KY ELOPEMENT wedding *** for $She
wanted to apply it to a bigger wedding with guests and the full inn rental I reluctantly agreed but with the condition that the *** was her nonrefundable deposit. She normally would have had to come up with at least a $deposit with monthly payments towards her bigger wedding. She made a reservation for a wedding and reserved the most important day of the year, February 14th I agreed to accept the *** as a non refundable depositShe agreed to make monthly payments*** made her reservation on April 12th, She had the entire Inn reserved which kept other guests from being able to schedule any weddings with us or rent my guests rooms. Several months after her first reservation, and with no payments as agreed, *** contacted Southern Grace to change the date of her weddingI explained to her that she has had my entire inn rented for Feb 14, for several months. I reluctantly agreed to change her date to December 13, She did not follow through with my request for additional funds for her almost 3K wedding. She made an appointment to visit on July 13th at 1:00 and she did not show up. Then she wanted to change the wedding plans to be only an elopementThen she wanted a different venue completelyThen she wanted me to let her sell the nontransferable gift ***. Our communication was plainHer Bid on *** *** was being held as a non refundable depositShe cancelled her wedding and wanted her non refundable deposit back
Meanwhile I answered countless emails and spent hours on a customer that had no intentions of paying for a wedding or my timeI was being gracious by allowing her to apply a nontransferable *** as the deposit

As you have figured out by now we are really set on 12-13-(the original date we started with asking you about) but there is no way we can do it at 1pm due to my sons graduation at 10amI think we are going to have to look at other venuesWe have the voucher from bid on Ky that is valued at Is there any possibility that we could just have a night in the Southern Grace Suite instead of the elopement package? I'm so sorry for all the confusion, I never knew planning a wedding could be this difficultPlease let me know if this is something we can do.
