We used Southern Home Additions, Incto extend and screen in out patio We had a great experience working with them and love the finished product They were very responsive to our questions and kept us well informed during the process I would highly recommend them to anyone

We were very favorable impressed with the quality of work done by Southern Home Additions The owner *** *** came to our home, took measurements, and gave us our estimate The time frame was quite reasonable for the replacement of our Florida room roof The two installers were very professional and explained the job as it was done I would highly recommend this business to others

I found Southern Home Additions, Inc., to be an excellent company to do business as soon as I made the contact, the company was ready and available to do the job in a professional manner At the time, my husband was seriously ill and I could not use his help in advising me what to do Southern Home Additions along with their contractor, *** ***, owner of *** ***, took me under their wings and took care of everything In other words, they were more like family, which made me feel so proud in that the job would be done correctly and affordable Our new SunRoom is beautiful from the ceiling down to the tile flooringAnd when I added the furnishings it was beautifulI highly recommend Southern Home Additions and *** *** to the Jacksonville Community for all of their home improvement needs

I contacted SoHome Additions along with other companies for estimates of repair or replacement of a leaky porch roofThey were reasonable and fit in with the others, but what got me was I was told that I would receive the same warranty as if it was a new roofEveryone else said days or yrIt is still holding well without any leaks and it has been almost a year alreadyI am very pleased with the workmanship and price

I contacted Southern Home to enclose my existing patio After they came for the estimate, all was handled as stated They kept me informed on the progress of ordering materials and just to reach out and say hello I am very happy with my screen enclosure and it now is my favorite "room" in my house My neighbors and friends are jealous and I find them enjoying it as much as I do They were honest and professional from the beginning which goes a long way I will highly recommend Southern Homes Addition to my friends and neighbors for there own special room

Southern, start to finish came across as very professional. The salesman actually tried to save me money, and did. He was knowledgeable about his products and offered positive suggestions. Offered no pressure, but made sure we were on the same page. The crew that did the demo, and construction were courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. They cleaned-up at the end of the day, and kept me informed of their current status, and when they would return. There were some delays, weather, baby being born, ect. but nothing unreasonable. The office staff kept me advised of all changes, on a current basis. This process went smoothy, I would recommend and call this company again.

The staff at Southern Home Additions were great to work with, from the original estimate to the completion of the work. There was a delay in getting materials from their supplier but they kept me informed during the entire process. The work was then completed on time and to our complete satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family or friends!!!

I had a screen porch added to my home 9 years ago. Southern Home Additions built for me exactly what I had in mind and I have been extremely happy with it. Just recently, I discovered a small leak which I felt was not unusual given the porch's age. I called Southern Home and the owner came to my home, explained what had happened, and will resolve the problem at no charge to me. That kind of professionalism, quality workmanship, and service is hard to find.

[redacted] made you feel like you were family. His crew showed up on time, work was done in two days and our screen room is beautiful. It's exactly what we wanted. [redacted] kept us up to date on every aspect of the job. It was one of the best experiences my husband and I have ever dealt with.

Southern Home Additions, Inc. was fantastic to work with!
In January 2016, we had them add sliding windows, insulation, a new front door and siding on our already screened in back porch. The price was fair, the service was great, and the project got done quickly. They always kept us informed of the status of the project as they were collecting materials, and all questions were answered thoroughly.
Quick Shout Outs: [redacted], Office Manager. She has everything under control, and is extremely fun to work with (even if she is a Gators fan!....). Also [redacted], who originally scouted the property and discussed with us what could be done. We felt very comfortable working with them.
Our back deck looks great and adds a huge presence to the house. Our whole family loves it.
If you haven't already guessed by reading this, we recommend Southern Home Additions to anyone and everyone. They do great work!

Our attorney is out of town until the first week in September and when he returns he will prepare a non-disclosure settlement agreement. I do not have any complaints with this company they did an excellent job. Time frame was rewarding.
